We were planning to get Cheers package. My hubby just got off the phone with Carnival and they told him it doesn't include frozen alcoholic drinks at the pool. Now we're wondering if it's worth it for us.

What? That would be incorrect. Frozen drinks are included.

I have never really seen a lot of partying on any of my cruises. No one really being excessively loud and obnoxious. We sailed the triumph and had no issues. We are booked again this December.

You can use them to pay for your cruise. When you board the ship you can put them on your sign & sail account. You can use them onboard to pay for cheers at the online price since you can't use them online to purchase cheers. Yes I believe the balance goes back on the card.

You can get unlimited water with the cheers package. We always order one, wait 5 minutes order another. Do that several times and you have water stocked in your state room.

We do this, but throw them in a backpack and take on shore with us.

Personally - I think they should have passed out obc and/or free drinks to the people NOT in the crowd...don't compensate people for being *******s!! but the squeaky wheel....I wasnt there, so not my monkey!
Not my circus, Not my monkey. [emoji205] [emoji23] I love that saying

Estimate roughly $6 a beer and $10 a cocktail. That will give you a rough estimate based on how much you think you will drink. I always plan on the high side just to be safe.

I love it. They call Carnival liars, but when asked for proof they leave. Facts don't matter lol

Unless I missed it, I never saw anything about the Breeze delay for an entire day this past weekend. They weren't allowed into the port until the very next day due to fog. I've never heard of this. Does Carnival give them some type of assistance with their flights home?
It was under a different thread about a different ship being delayed, I believe the Valor.

I just got some in the mail yesterday. They are pretty nice. Ordered from amazon. It said they were the new larger size.

Yes. If you turn platinum at any time during your cruise you are issued a platinum card when you board.

Trying to convince DH to get the CHEERS for us because I KNOW we will break even. We easily drink 6 each per day. EASILY.:o:o
He thinks because we have 4 ports on an 8 night cruise, we night not break even.
The cost of Cheers for our sailing, for the 2 of us, would be $900 +/-.
We'll hit it.
We usually have 900-1000 bar tab........
We'll see what he decides..
I would tell him if you normally spend $900-$1000 anyways, then what's the harm in buying cheers.

Just to make sure you are looking at the right place.
Under the "Manage" tab, click on "My Booking"
Left side of page, Blue Box says "To Do List"
Click on "On Line Check-in" (Edit)
Right under "Current Guests" should be a box that says "My Check-in Time".
Select that and pick a time.
Good Luck
I just checked where you said, nothing there for my December 2017 cruise out of New Orleans.

People have said you can purchase it on the ship with gift cards for the online price.

We live in Nebraska. We usually drive to Galveston, it's around 14-15hrs. It's long especially when we do it straight through. We have been on the Magic, Triumph, Legend and Miracle. We liked them all. I didn't find the Magic overly crowded. We like the stuff on the Triumph. We usually decide itinerary first, port second and ship lastly.

It seemed like their website was having problems last night when I was looking at cruises.

With Verizon reward points you can get -$10 off $100 cards or -$50 off $500 card. If you are going on a cruise anyway, it's a way to save some money.
