Well done Sharon. Great shot on the Al Capone's cell.

Really liking this picture, so crisp and I can see the water drops on the body.
This mallard passed behind me and I'm glad I was able to react quickly and took 2 shots. He was so close that this is almost full frame. I'm glad you like it.
Awesome captures! Thanks for sharing them.Thank you Bryan for the nice words.

I have just returned from a cruise to Europe. Loved it!
Love the 2nd pick. Welcome back. I'm sure you had a great time.

Not a bad spot for a bootcamp! Are thse HDR pics?- love the colors- very nice
It's more of a team building and leadership skills training bootcamp. The 1st one is an HDR (3 shots) while the 2nd was just from a single photo. All taken with a canon G11.
I'm glad you like them.

We just came back from a Bahamas cruise. Still lots of photos to process but I like this one among the few I did earlier.
A beautiful sunrise over the Atlantis resort greeted us as Norwegian Jewel enters the port of Nassau.

Nice sequence, Ravi09. Did you use a polarizer to get that nice deep blue sky?
Hi Cindi, no polarizer on that one. It was taken at almost sunset time.

Spring like weather this week. Visited a nearby lakeshore park and saw this mockingbird enjoying the beautiful weather too.

Hi praline3001,
I have a flickr account but have not used it for a long time. What you've seen might be a similar macro shots.
-
Nice shots Larry but the 2nd pic is really great. Cheers

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I'm glad you like the pic.
FL Naturelover, I shot this using a macro lens. I'm sure you can achieve similar result with a regular lens however you might do some extensive cropping. It usually depends on the minimum focusing distance of the lens.
For the composition, it's just a matter of finding the correct position to get the flower reflection on the water drops. Hope this helps. Cheers

Spring is just around the corner so I'm looking forward to visit some public gardens in our area for flower macro shots.

Nice one Blueboss. I've been an active cub/boy scout during my younger days and gives me lots of fun memories.
Haven't posted in a while so I dig up some photos I remember taken few weeks back.
I got out and used my camera today...
