Love the review so far. Thanks for taking us along with you. It helps to tide me over until my cruise in Feb on the Dream.
I'm sorry someone stole your phone.

My first cruise was on the Conquest when she was sailing out of Galveston. It was Spring Break. There was quite a bit rudeness, and not all of it from young people. That is the only time that I have experienced "bad behavior" on a Carnival cruise. Glad that it did not put me off Carnival or cruising.

How about an island tour? It's a very pretty island.
-
Yes. It was $25.00 when I was there six years ago. Don't know what it is now. We managed to go for $20.00 because the driver begged us because he could not find the last two people to fill his van. It was one of the best island tours I've ever been on. He was happy to drop a few people off at the beach.

I've sailed two ships multiple times but not on the same route.
I took a cruise a few years ago on one of my favorite ships that I would gladly do the same route.

I don't know. That thought has crossed my mind before when ordering water, too. Maybe some people don't pay attention?

Thanks all. I appreciate the info.

Do what you want to do. If you want to try NCL, then try them. It's always good to try something new. Enjoy your cruise, whichever once you do.

Oh my gosh! The suspense is killing me! I hope that you get a good room.

I always call the family from the ship. I don't talk long, just a quick check in. It's cheaper and reliable.

Great report. I enjoyed reading.

My daughter and I are going on the Dream in Feb. She was looking at parking in NOLA and couldn't make up her mind because of some bad reviews. The place she booked for us to stay the night before does not have parking, so we'll have to park at one of the paid parking decks. Any advice?

I am very happy for you Nobelwoman. Enjoy.

Thank you all for the answers.
I can't eat oats. Period.
Sounds like I'll be all right when I sail.

Thanks for all of the replies! It helps.

I was going to say Bermuda but see it was already mentioned. Enjoy planning your trip!

Hi guys. My GI doctor recently told me that I have to go Gluten and oat free. It's helped me a lot. My daughter and I are scheduled to go on our next Carnival cruise in Feb. on the Dream. I'm wondering how well Carnival does with it's gluten free cruisers? Any of you had the gluten free experience on a Carnival ship? I so want some of the melting chocolate cake. I wonder if they'd make that special with GF flour? Anyway, any advice is appreciated.

Congrats. Carnival comes up with some very nice offers. They did for me for my coming cruise on the Dream. I went from Cove balcony to Spa Balcony.
I hope you enjoy that extended balcony.
