We can be in line by 5 or 5 30. My 15 yr old son isn't too pleased-> But come on: we would have just been on 7 days in cruise paradise, so a little early morning is not something to carp about, IMHO.

Yes, we get back to Buffalo by 3 pm or so - though we had to go thru NYC on the way. We generally like to use the Buffalo airport as prices are better. Though its expensive traveling during March break no matter what. Sigh!

Thank you everybody, you were so helpful! That is great. I am sure it will be a bit ugly that early in the morning for us, but hey! We would have just had a tremendous time on our cruise, and early morning ugly will be more tolerarable

I have used self departure in past and found it to be quite fast and efficient. I assume RC is still doing it.
Our family is doing Allure 7 nite, Carribean March 11. We have a 9 am flight out of Ft Lauderdale that leaves at 9am, and that flight was the best one to get us back home that afternoon.
Now, if we are all set to go for self departure when the ship docks on the 18th, does anyone have any comments on the chance of making the 9 am flight?
Thanks

Our family will be doing a 7 day Carribean cruise on Allure in March. We have cruised with RC several times.
Question about internet. It looks to me that it costs $15.99/person/day. In the past, even a year ago, I recall one subscription covered 3 devices. Now I get the impression they want you to pay for each person per day, is that correct? And how many devices does each person get, it is really unclear from the web site.
Thanks

Hello
We are going on Freedom of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale on Western Carribean, Sunday March 12th.
We will be staying at the Hilton Garden on 17th Street.
According to the hotel, the cruise terminal transfer service they'd suggest would cost $10/person, and we are three people.
That sounds like quite a bit, considering the cruise terminal is so close.
So I am wondering if someone can suggest a better alternative. I think there are other transfer services available, and I also wonder if simply getting a taxi from the hotel to the cruise terminal would be cheaper.
Thanks

Also check rates at the newer London Waterloo (Westminster Bridge) which is very close by.
Thanks for this! We found and booked Premier Inn. Appreciate your help.

Check out the Premier Inn, London County Hall. Clean, minimalist, friendly.
At times the rates are very good.
Thank you for this recommendation. I am having some trouble locating this one in London County Hall though, at least on their web page. Could it be under a different location?

Hello
We are returning on Brilliance of the Seas from a Baltic Cruise on July 1 at 4 am. Ship docks in Harwick. We are staying overnight in London then flying back to Toronto
We would like to get into London to see a few sights, but know London can be expensive. Can anyone suggest a nice hotel to stay in, it could be close to the tube outside of the city core, if that helps with expenses.
Thanks for the help, I know this isn't about the cruise but I didn't know where else to post!

Thank you very much. Perhaps it is best if we book a taxi. I am not familiar with Roll Call however? Can you please explain how I would do it?
My husband was thinking of renting a car at the airport and driving it down to Harwich. The cost is very reasonable. He thinks that if the highway is congested, it will be the same if we are in a car, a taxi or a bus. But after reading all the above, I think by the time we get past customs, get our luggage, get to the rental place, get the car, then get on the road, we will be pushing things abit. Am I correct in thinking this?
How bad is Gatwick?

Hello
We are doing a Baltic cruise on Brilliance in late June/14. We fly into Gatwick mid morning, and simply need to get down to Harwich before 5 pm. Of course, prefer to get there mid afternoon if possible.
I'd like to hear about cost effective options to do this transfer. I think there is some way to get from the airport to the train, which then heads down to the port? Or maybe there is some other way. But I have heard this transfer can be pricey if we are not careful.
So we are sending out a Cruise Critic sonar ping to find out how to do this!
Thanks everyone!;)

Hello
We will be on Allure on a week and would like to book this. I'd rather not use RC to do so. Does anyone have a contact for the company running this?
I hope I am posting to the right place.
