Gambee, I appreciate all you've done--so very much, but I think you missed a question I posted back a bit. Did the aft-facing balcony cabins come with bathrobes?

For our past 3 cruises with NCL, one in a balcony, twice in mini-suites, there were bathrobes in the closet. If there are not there, you can ask for them. The room stewards are usually more than happy to accommodate any reasonable requests.

I'm very far behind but I had to comment. We have much in common! I too have a 6yo girl AND am sailing 10/05/14!!! It's been a few days since ive read gambees review and even longer for any other CC thread. Have you joined our roll call? I look forward to chatting and counting down the 400+ days with you!:cool:

English101 - That's awesome!!! I don't remember if I joined the roll call yet. If I haven't, I will. Our last cruise I was the organizer of the Meet and Greet.;)

My daughter is so excited that now she will have a built in friend on the cruise!

Gambee - Your videos are incredible! I watched them all back to back, and then watched them again with my 6 year old daughter. She LOVED them and we are all so excited to go experience the ship ourselves.

All I can say is "Thank you!" for all of your hard work. You are so talented.

Gambee definitely needs to be receiving commission! Cruises (even upgrades to aft rooms...AND suites since he shares pictures of those rooms as well!), cameras, suitcases, fedoras, Carlos' bake shop items, specialty restaurants, we could go on and on...

I agree Gambee should get something from NCL. I have been reading this review and just asked my TA to change my room to a better (and more expensive) one. Before reading it, I was actually thinking about canceling it and switching to an all inclusive resort instead. Not anymore.

Our fare went down 100.00 We got upgraded from a porthole to a picture window. I did have to call.

How close to your sailing were you when you did that? I just saw that my cruise went down $50 pp but there is only 54 days until we go.

Wow! Thank you for the pictures. We were on the Dawn in 2005 and she looks beautful. It looks like the refurb changed the internet cafe to where Tapas was, and Spinnaker is now where the Galleria was. Other than that, she still looks beautiful! You may want to take up a second career as a photographer.

And I saw the dreaded machine in the casino that I sat at for hours only to realize I was playing it wrong!!!! Ugh! (It's the one that you try to push the coins down the chute, only I was pushing towards the wrong one!!):eek:

We loved the Creme Brulee so much that when we got home we bought our own kit to make it ourselves. :D
