On the Crown does anyone know how big the porthole is in the rooms on Riveria deck aft or what it looks like? Just wondering if you will be able to look out or just some light coming thru.

On Princess.............we went from obstructed view.......Emerald deck to Lido deck balcony...........

Mid ship is the calmest...........but depending on where we're going where we book.......

Hawaii & Panama Canal DH prefers the aft of the ship............Caribbean he prefers the front........

We don't notice the movement.....it lull's us to sleep.............

Does anyone know where the door is to get out to the aft pool on deck 14? We are booked in the last cabin..........right by the pool & wondering where the door is. Hope it's close....want to be able to pop out there without having to go very far.

In May we had P338 on Ruby.................they close the door to the hallway.......right at the IC........at night & we never heard anything....very quiet room........would book it again.

I know about Alaska in Sept........this will be our 10th cruise there....... ;) We're platinum but this is their first cruise..........so just want to make it easy on them......

Pierlesscruisers..........Tom.............I have a question about boarding..........brother & sister-in-law just booked this cruise with us.........Sept 6..........he uses a walker & will need a wheelchair for embark & debark.......I noted that on their documents..........will he still need to tell them at the pier? Also........can he check his walker or should they take in with them?

We were on the first cruise of the season......May 3........

I have a comment on the food..........the king crab legs were GREAT........I'm fussy about crab & know crab.....from the Pacific Northwest........a large portion & the legs were sliced so you didn't have to break them open.........I thought the deserts were great........sweet & tasty.......even in the IC.........

We enjoyed the ship & food so much that we are going back on Sept 6 on the Ruby........

We did self disembark & were leaving the ship at 7:15am............

This was our 9th cruise to Alaska.....not all on Princess.........
