I second Blue Hole. The most beautiful place we've been to; much better than Dunn's River Falls. You can combine it with tubing down White River. We booked through Courtney Taylor. Highly recommended.
In Grand Caymen, we did Stingray City with Moby Dick Tours, followed by a beach day at a beach club on Seven Mile Beach. Sorry, can't recall the name but Mark from Moby dropped us off.

11:45 am arrival at LAX to Port of Long Beach is very doable. Super Shuttle is a good choice.
As for an overnight stay, Hotel Maya or the Queen Mary are both good choices for their proximity to the port. Or try the Pacific Inn in Seal Beach for a better rate and have them drive you to port.

The biodegradable sunblock is great for the coral reefs but be mindful to reapply after each time in the water as they are not waterproof. We learned the hard way last year while snorkeling in Cozumel. We all got badly sunburned because we forgot to reapply. My niece and her boyfriend had to cancel their massages that afternoon and he had to wear a rash guard the rest of the cruise.

A drawback to the aft extended balcony is that they get very little breeze back there so if cruising in the Caribbean, it can get awfully hot. Plus there's little privacy as your neighbors can easily peak around the slanted dividers. I think you get the best of both worlds with an aft wrap: calm balcony in the back and some breeze and privacy on the side. Love them!

We booked our family and friends cruise for August 2016 back in April/May this year. Most under past guest, some Fun Select. This way, we can, and have already made, changes without penalty but have booked cabins of our choice. We plan on changing to Early Saver sometime early next year when our twentysomething kids' plans are firmed up. We have extended balconies and insides booked so hoping for drops but the past guest fares are reasonable for our cruise right now.

Looks like it's 7454 on the Breeze.

We had cabin 7448 on the Dream last year, a cat 8B. The cabin itself was small but we had a long balcony next to the aft wrap. Also, on the back of the ship, deck 5 promenade doesn't stick out so you do see water when looking down rather than the deck. No hot tubs nearby either. Not sure if the Breeze has the same deck plans but I think it's worth looking into.

Looks like they released FTTF for the Miracle today as downrunner and I are both on that ship.

Just booked FTTF for my August 2016 cruise! Checked first thing this morning, nothing. Then chekced again around 10:00am PDT and there it was!

I second the suggestion for the Blue Hole. We also did tubing down White River after Blue Hole. Much better than the crowded Dunns River. Booked with Courtney Taylor, our group of 10 had a private van, driver, and guide. We all agreed it was the best day of our vacation.

Try the Pacific Inn in nearby Seal Beach. Our friend used to work there and he drove cruise passengers to the port all the time.

My 21 year old daughter looks young for her age. When men make unwanted advances or comments towards her, she tells them, "I'm 17," and they just go away! She tells me it works like a charm every time.

Instead of surf and turf, my husband and I order one ribeye steak (our favorite cut!) and one lobster. They will split them for you. I think the "turf" is a filet mignon, too dry for me.
As for the free wine, each of the four times we had eaten at the Steakhouse, we were a party of 6 (3 couples) and had at least 2 bottles of wine.
Enjoy your dinner at the Steakhouse!

We were able to switch from a promo rate (can't recall which) to ES without changing our cabin. Never occurred to me that that would be an issue. I'd call back and speak to another rep.

OP, you can change to Early Saver then immediately apply fore the fare reduction for Past Guest. A win-win for you!

We've stayed in cabins 8455 and 8449, the opposite side of the ship from your cabins, on the Liberty. On the starboard side, it was the crew stairwell. Some of the crew smoke in there so you might get a whiff sometimes. Also, they can see down into your balcony from the stairwell. We just waved to them. :)

Tequilasunrise, I've cruise in aft wraps and I can tell you that there is no breeze in the aft. There's plenty of breeze on the side balconies so the smoke will likely blow away but not so much in the aft. If smoke is an issue for you, my recommendation is to stay away from the aft-facing balconies.

Same thing happened (or more aptly, didn't happen) to me too as far as clicking on "submit" button and nothing happening. I ended up calling the 800 number and was told that their system is compatible with Internet Explorer so I should try that. My response was that I don't like I.E., so haven't used it for years, and been submitting Price Protection forms from Safari and Chrome in the past with no issues. I hung up, called customer service again and got a rep who helped me out over the phone with my price reductions.

We booked in October 2013 for our July 2014 cruise and bought FTTF then. There were 9 left at that time. Then we booked one more cabin last week for same cruise but FTTF was sold out. Checked every day or so since then, and 4 more became available today so I bought one. I'd say check everyday; you'll never know when more will open up!

We had it on our Freedom cruise in August and just bought it again for our Dream cruise next July. On the Freedom, we had to go to guest services a few times; so glad we didn't have to wait in the long general-passenger line! I think that alone made it worth it to us. Looking forward to using it at Grand Cayman's tender port.

I saw this and checked to see if they're available on Verizon on they were! Got another $500 gift card. Missed it earlier in the week. Thanks for the heads up.
