Faxed with form (as we always did) on Nov 12. Our previous record by this method was 16 minutes! Nothing by Nov 29, so emailed it on the 29th (first time by this method). Credit for these January and October cruises was posted yesterday, Dec 3.
Not as fast as usual, but still all good. I wasn’t concerned based on other posts.

Don’t forget that it includes 25% off of bottles of wine. We don’t use it typically, except for the higher end bottles not available by glass. Also, you can take your glass of wine anywhere, but some venues (a dining room here and there and Vines (on the Royal Classes)) may want to exchange glassware with you when you leave.
Hope that helps. Safe Journeys, Paul

Thought that I would weigh in for those that are interested.
October 2020 paid in full Caribbean cruise on Sky, cancelled in August, FCC chosen and it was credited within 21 days of cancellation.
January 2021 paid in full Caribbean cruise on Sky cancelled in November, FCC chosen, cruise dates have come and gone, No credit Received yet, paid First Class EZ Air, insurance or Tax/Port Charges not refunded to CC.
March 2021 paid in full Caribbean cruise on Sky cancelled in November, FCC chosen, No credit received yet, paid First Class EZ Air, insurance or Tax/Port charges not refunded to CC yet.
September 2021 paid in Full New England Cruise on Sky which as most now know was changed to Caribbean Princess on a redeployment notice, this cruise was cancelled by me after I unsuccessfully tried to explain to ‘them’ that the cancelled Window Suite on the Sky really didn’t compare to the reassigned Window Suite on the Caribbean....at the same price. That was just after Thanksgiving. Though I would have taken FCC again, I chose refund since I still wasn’t credited the FCC mentioned in the above two cruises. No CC credit refund yet.
Still have NYE Cruise and Sept Med cruises scheduled, for what it is worth. Also, I didn’t wait when the notices first came out. I sent emails to my PVP immediately when we chose FCC so it wouldn’t wait until the default date.
That’s where we sit in case folks want to compare.

Just waiting to see how long it takes for someone to chime in and say they received an offer without even stepping into the casino.
Got the $1k and free balcony offer both times...without stepping much out of the casino. Oh...hmm!

Great. Thanks, 2 Cruises. Saves me the search process, which is always a benefit.

Hi,
I recently cruised aboard the Sky Princess and charged my onboard purchases to my Princess Visa account. However, I did not receive double points for this charge. The charge is clearly indicated on my statement as "Sky Princess." I called the Princess Visa telephone number and they told me to call Princess (which seemed strange). I called Princess and they told me to call the Princess Visa number. I also have sent two messages to Princess Visa that have been ignored. Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to get the double points?
Thanks,
Chuck
Chuck, as others have said, several years ago, it was happening routinely. A Thread posted a direct phone number to a Barclay supervisor line that they were instantly fixing the problem without going through the initial layers of customer service.
I, too, have the same issue with a small ($200) end of Sky Cruise settlement from last week’s Sky Cruise. It seems to be a coding issue since it is labeled Sky Princess instead of the typical Princess Cruise Passages to get the doubling.
I plan on searching a bit tomorrow to find the old thread with the special phone number to call. If someone else doesn’t post it, I will if I find it.

You definitely want to utilize the concierge lounge. On the Regal it is located on the Riveria deck (deck 14) aft midships. It is in the area of the R6?? suites. Do not worry about calling the dine line or going to the restaurant about reservations. After boarding go straight to the concierge lounge and ask them to make any reservations that you want. All of the specialty dining is crowded on that night and they will make your reservation for another night. They seem to have the correct contacts to get almost anything you need. They can check on excursions and also have personal information on what to see and how to use local transportation in all of the ports. As others have said they have pastries, fruit and coffee and juices in the morning and sandwiches and cookies in the afternoon. For us it will become another of the best suite perks.
And Print Airline Boarding Passes!

Has anyone else encountered this with the photo package on the Sky (no paper prints)?
Thanks, Paul
-
You should double check with photo manager and then go to PS if they don’t provide print. Definitely not what the new policy says. We’ve had it many times, but not on medallion ship. I have it scheduled at the pre-Cruise rate of $199, but will cancel if not corrected. Please see attached policy and what is considered an included event.
Good Luck and please let us know. Safe Journeys, Paul

The MDR menus are not on the intranet nor on the MedallionClass app and the only printed copies are displayed at the aft end of the buffet...they're no longer displayed at the dining rooms entrances.
Thanks, Astro. Wishful thinking! Enjoy.

Great deal with the option to do the NYE Cruise date. We only ever got one move over offer, but it had a limitation on it to reschedule after 2 months (our cruise was 10 day December and if we wanted 10 day Caribbean Cruise, The offer was restricted to after the Feb cruises). Odd, but we declined. Glad it worked out for you.

Also the only main dining room menus are at the aft end of the buffet...none at the MDR dining rooms & none at Sabatini’s. The MDRs change daily & even though the specialty restaurants don’t change not everyone carries their phone to view the menu.
As always, thanks Astro Flyer for your comments. I may be misinterpreting your comment; but, are the daily MDR Menus now listed on the intranet website or Ocean Medallion phone apps?
Thanks, and Safe Journeys. Paul

Thanks to everyone who answered my question. Thanks also for the fun comments. It was my husband's title. He loves when people get his humor.
Touché. Perfect break from the typical complaint threads with similar titles.
We don’t even have an issue on land, but love to eat the prunes for breakfast on the ship, because of our less than great diet choices onboard!
Thanks for the smile. Safe Journeys and here’s to a smooth cruise. Paul

Some of these posts are so bizarre, it must be trolling. However, if not, I’m glad it’s not my picture in the profile for the proverbial lugie in the plate.
Once again, Norovirus is not food poisoning. The generalizations found in some of these posts are astounding in 2019.

There may be a slight flaw in your logic.
Just a slight flaw??!!??
I tried to ignore it. Comparing a viral outbreak with a bacterial? Food poisoning (usually bacterial) with Norovirus? Confusing source of virus with means of spreading it.
I’ll end with the third world employees’ comment...Really? Many of these outbreaks are in USA schools and nursing homes and on cruises originating in our Country. Just like a viral flu, Norovirus happens in every country and in environs that have a lot of people in a confined area. Likewise, a bacterial salmonella or e-Coli outbreak happens in every country.....like our current ground beef salmonella outbreak.
Cruise lines have developed a pretty good process of containment over the years.

We’ve had no problems doing it in either direction. I’m sure someone will say they did have a problem; so, most likely it’s up to the Head Waiters and Maitre D on any given cruise at any given moment!

Sandra and Chris,
Thank you very much for your gracious Live from the Sky. It was enjoyable and immensely informative. Looking forward to our trips aboard the Sky.
Thanks again. Safe Journeys home.

Don't know what to say. The other Carnival conflicts were all changed. This late change by Princess may not be accommodated, but I expected Carnival to swap P Cay and Nassau. Maybe they will; maybe they won't. If a conflict occurred, I wouldn't be getting off the ship either (been there several times). P Cay was built long before Royal Class came along.
Carnival has now reversed their whole itinerary for their Nov 30 Sunrise Cruise. No Dec 3rd Conflict at Princess Cays now.

Hi Paul, as far as we can tell both the red and green areas each form part of the suite balconies with tables and chairs set up there.
Thanks, Dides. I appreciate the pics of the Sky Suite balcony and the area of the hall that is blocked off. I guess that they have it like that for when crew needs to access it? I think on the original design, that extra area was supposed to be public space, but later they added it to the Sky Suite Balconies to make it the ‘largest balcony at sea’ and to advertise the private MUTS viewing area. It is strange though to still build it with those access points and then rope it off.
Thanks again. Dinner looked great yesterday. Regardless of others’ view on it, we love Club Class dining.

Thanks for all of the information and pictures, dides.
Different format for Patters and the Hamburger of the day appears removed from Favorites on dinner menu. That was a secret to many. It is a very high quality burger that is served in different formats every evening in the MDR. Often ordered it a perfect Medium Rare on nights that I wasn’t that hungry.
Thanks also for the current movies. I appreciate that information.
And, I hope Carlos Oscar is still the Comedian when The Sky gets to Florida. We enjoy him.

Thanks, dides. Also, thanks for the pictures that you have been posting. I have really been enjoying them.
Rarely do I take someone up on an offer like yours, because I don’t want to interfere in your Holiday. But, it seems that you enjoy an initial ‘Scavenger Hunt’ on a new ship! I just have one question, as you could surmise from my posts and pictures on the Sky Suite. Is the area shown in red below open solely for the Sky Suite? And, if so, why is there a door both into the ship hallway and another glass one between the two areas of the deck (shown in the green circle on my pic).
Don’t take too much of your ship time if it isn’t evident! Thanks for your offer.
We are on her in three times in the next 3 months! Like you we love to test drive new Princess Ships!

I found that website also, but not the format I was looking for.
Have you tried the above listed cruisetimetables site. Once you find your ship (hit ports link, the departure date), your (and all other ships in port that day) will list your entire itinerary. Each port in your itinerary is searchable with a touch, then a touch of the date. You can search your entire itinerary with two touches for each stop in your itinerary without starting over.
Hope that helps. It’s my favorite, as well.

As you can tell, I am curious about Sky Suites! This is a picture of the MUTS side of the Sky Suite balcony. The red area is supposed to be the private area of the balcony for Sky Suite to watch MUTS (note the speaker! And loungers). But why the doors (the brown door would lead into the hallway) in the green area? In case Princess wants to open it up to passengers? For room service access while watching MUTS? Curious minds want to know!! The other screenshot is the current diagram on the Princess website showing this area of the balcony.
Please comment if anyone is a current passenger. Thanks, Paul

Two enlarged pictures of the back (side adjacent to Retreat Cabanas) of Sky Suite Balcony (courtesy of Cruise Trade News and Charlotte Humphrey) sure seems to lack a bit of privacy. A tall person would appear to be able to peer into the area. I was a bit concerned about the MUTS side, but this side appears to be a bit open. Another picture, (I couldn’t post because there was a person in the pic) even has a door in the border to apparently have direct access to the Cabana area.
Definitely interesting.
