Do you have to make reservations in advance for the shows?

Because we just booked our cruise for April 16th I was only able to book one specialty restaurant.  Will a party of 2 have any luck booking once on ship?

Are there a lot of obstructed view balcony  cabins on the escape?  It looks like only “guaranteed balconies “ are available. Just curious what my chances are. Thanks so much. 

are there any hidden gem balconies that are bigger than the standard?

Just got off the Bliss this past Sunday. We had cabin 9923 and loved it as usual. Third or fourth time in an AFT.  We did have a little soot but I just wiped it down and all was fine. First time in an AFT where we had any soot and it wouldn’t stop me from booking again. 

Thanks. That’s good for my phone but not my cpap. Will pack extension cord. Really thought they would do better with electrical outlets on the new ships. 

Are there any outlets by the head of the bed?  

I was just thinking the brightly colored tags would be easier for the luggage handlers. The ones I printed out just st say “purple”. 

The tags I printed out when I completed my on line check in has a place for our name and address. The tags ncl mailed have no place for that info.  I’m thinking I’ll use their tags and just make sure there is another tag that has all our personal info. 

I believe it’s just the boat.

I was thinking Haven was in the aft area of the ship and the forward facing penthouse was a long walk?

I think these would all be sweet but which is your preference.

if my research is correct, they all have Haven access and the spa cabins also have spa access.  It’s so hard to decide. 

Edit;  now I think what I’m reading may be wrong about “spa” cabins having haven access. 

My husband and I are on the 8-25 Bliss sailing to Canada.  We chose an aft balcony which we both enjoy. I just got the upgrade email and it shows pretty much all the H categories available to bid on but when I do a fake booking, there is only the H7 forward facing penthouse available.   Has anyone stayed in one of these and did you like it?  I’m thinking if I was going to have the Haven experience (which I didn’t think would ever be possible), would being on deck 13 but still have access to the Haven, be less enjoyable?  Thanks for your help.

just realized our cabin is below the casino. I have enough trouble sleeping without any added noise. I’ve never been able to find earplugs that fit because I guess my ears are a bit screwy. Any suggestions welcome.

we had an inside stateroom and bid pretty low. Really hoping for a balcony but got ocean view. Is it possible to bid again. I don’t see the option anymore.

we did hear noises from deck 13 but mostly early morning when they were putting chairs out.

Just came off the Dawn yesterday and we were in family suite 12030. I was so annoyed with the amount of creaking, groaning, clicking and clacking while moving. Could have cared less during the day but the nights were awful. Mentioned to the butler but knew that nothing would come of it. Got a break while docked in the Bahamas and then heard it again coming back to Boston. I've only cruised 5 times but never had this kind of noise (or really any noise). I know that this is a big mechanical vessel moving through the ocean but what is reasonable?

I'm good. We are on the ship. I guess I freaked out. Whoever said your cruise does not show on departure day is correct. Bonvoage

supposed to be cruising to Bermuda today. Bid and received upgrade to family suite. Printed out new luggage tags. Wake up today to an email that says upgrade wasn't accepted and now todayscruise doesn't even show up on my account. 5 min before I can call.

Just got an email confirmation for our Bermuda cruise leaving next Friday. Went from an aft balcony to a family suite. We love the aft balconies but you cannot beat the "suite life". I think we paid about 700.00 more for both of us. I know it showed as a poor bid on their scale. I've been watching and knew they still had 5 unfilled family suites still available so I thought the chances were good.

Just took my offer back. There were two PH Aft suites, one on outside and one in. Not taking any chances and cancelled request for upgrade. Thanks.
