Inside spa cabin amenities, what are they, I called Carnival and they didnt know. I am surprising my sister and brother in law as we both booked inside cabins and after the deposit I called the TA back and had them book the spa cabin, my treat the upgrade was very reasonable. I know I have a while to go but they will be so surprised when they see they are now in a inside spa cabin. What can you tell me about the cabins. We will be on deck 11 .

Is there a place on the Summit to smoke a cigar?

Leaving on the Sunshine Oct 1 2016, I have been on over 60 cruises and never went to Bermuda because it docked there for 3 days. I heard Oct was a nice time of year so I am happy to go.

with the surgery you had you should not be drinking those other light drinks, if you must flavor the water, use crystal light, lemons or limes. My sister had the surgery and those are all to be avoided.

I am looking to cruise 2016, Aug, Sept and Oct

Is everything out for cruises out of NYC for 2016? it seems like there is nothing are we still waiting for cruise update or is this it?

Hi Dorene, several people in my group bought the certificates via EBay. Paid $200 so both the seller and each buyer wound up $50 ahead of the game. Worked nicely! One certificate was going to expire before our August 2016 cruise. Checked with NCL ahead of time and they said they would extend as long as we used it to book before expiration. We did just that. Call NCL, you may just be able to book a future date now. If not send me an email, I may have a friend who can use one or both! Bambisim@aol.com. Good luck!!

I will need to cancel the Nov cruise so now back to two certificates. I will call them and see if I can extend. The person who was interested changed his mind due to not being able to use it by November. That will mean back to 2 certificates

Thank You, I believe mine do say book and sail as well, but I will call NCL. I guess sell them if they cant negotiate something with me. I did book for November but I am not sure I can sail then. Now any suggestions where to sell them LOL

I purchased 2 Certificates when I was on my last NCL cruise. It seems like I couldnt book anything and it is valid thru Nov 28, 2015. Do they ever extend them? I thought I would use them and I hate to waste them.

I am very disappointed with NCL promotions compared to other cruise lines. They just dont compare The problem is I have 2 vouchers for booking 2 cabins or 2 cruises. Is it just me or do you find their pricing comparable to others?

I guess that answered my question. The price on Carnival vs Hal, maybe one day but we are in our Mid 50's and enjoy the night life. I can buy dinner at the specialty restaurant every night if I wanted to on Carnival and still be less expensive.

I booked this as a Christmas gift for my children and my grandson. He loves Dr. Seuss and after doing extra reading I noticed it starts at age 2, he turned 1 June 20th and we are going on a cruise in Aug. Is there anything he can do with Dr. Suess? Can we do the breakfast? this will break not only his heart but mine as well.

Anyone know any information on this!!!

I still feel if Carnival sent in a Newer Ship with similar whistles, it would get booked with higher prices. I have sailed Carnival in the winter, I love it. I also take the train in from CT, on Metro North, it's like $30 round trip from New Haven. NCL is higher in price, but then you get the Breakaway, this cannot compete with the Splendor.

Just really sad about this as this was the big news at one time, so many thrilled. I think the prices dropped everywhere as it was a time when so much was happening with Carnival and they needed to get their customer back and the only way is by $$$.

I hope they decide to come back with a new ship and at least try it. They never lose money with me, maybe for the price of the trip but not while we are on the ship.

Then how does NCL and RC sail all year with not cheap cruises?

Thank you, I know they will be sailing thru October, my question was if there was any update on them sailing again winter months or is it truly a done deal and over now and all future sailings out of NYC.

Any update on if Carnival will ever come back to NYC and sail all year? 2015, 2016? I waited along time for them to come, only to be removed. I read here for all the reasons why they are no longer sailing all year out of NYC. But just thought there might be a slim chance they will return. I really don't want to sail the other cruise lines.

I noticed with so many flights being cancelled all over the country. I know people fly day of, did anyone miss their cruise due to cancellation of their flight.

I always worry about that.

I think if you are traveling with Platinum you should all be able to board together, I am traveling with my children. While I am with my husband, my children are not (separate cabins) I will be sailing out of NYC in Aug.

I do hope Carnival comes back year round once this is done. Sad, I have 3 certificates , 2 for NCL and 1 for Celebrity. But I still come back to Carnival. Great Price, ship, food and Service. Unfortunately, I love to cruise winter out of NYC, so I guess I will book with the others until she returns to NYC.

Hurry back Carnival I will be waiting for your year round cruises (I hope you return)
