Just bumping up for the weekend

Hi everyone!

Made friends with two great ladies on The NCL Star on the May 8th, 2016!

They were on the transatlantic from Tampa, then the Fjords cruise and finally the Baltics! Unfortunately, forgot to get an email and didn't realize til it was too late!! I'm not sure if the go on cruise critic, but I'm hoping some one that met them, might be able to let them know I'm looking for them!! I have a few pics and they got me a lovely anniversary gift that I wanted to thank them for!

I promise if you met them you will remember them! They were a hoot!

Just returned from Baltic cruise and we were in a suite...fabulous trip and beyond fabulous butler, Cristopher! The concierge is not Roel and we found that that service was not good for a number of reasons for us...others may have had a better experience!

We were I the first 50 people in line for a cab upon disembarkation and it took an hour and 20 mins for our turn to get a cab! There were just no cabs and no contingency plan! We couldn't take NCL bus because our flight was at 11:50.

We did find out that you can book a cab before onboard the day before...info that would have been helpful! The port guys said this has been an ongoing problem and the thought they had it solved for this cruise season.

We missed Sweden because of fog, but it was still a great trip!

Thanks for your answers! I'm going to be on the Star, so I guess it's up in the air as to what will happen!

This question is for the CAS people out there.

My understanding is now they give you a 75.00 credit rather than a meal if you are Hot level.

Can you buy Spd on board and use that towards it? Not even sure you can buy SPD on board?

Don't have a picture of the jacket, but I'm a retail buyer and quality is important as well as styling to me and I think it as a great bargain, he's still wearing it!

For the flowers.. Cut the stems off an inch, and put aspirin in the water!

They also had some beautiful dried flowers at pikes market that are now in my living room!

On the ship, we wore sweatshirt hoodies most of the time when out on deck! The only time we needed more than that was on the Skagway and Tracy Arm excursion off the boat...

Then we added rainbreakers, unlined for me and lined for him!

The rooms, in my opinion were warm. Too warm for me, had to crack the balcony door at night!

The indoor venues (restaurants, shows, etc, were perfect temperature to wear what you wanted!

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that as we didn't travel with children! Kids were in both pools and hot tubs though!
