I too lost 75lbs with ww and still going. Last April when we sailed on the silhouette transatlantic for 13 nights I found bringing my own salad dressing made a big difference! Once opened, I left in the cabin refrigerator and brought it with me when I wanted to. This made entree salads and salads in general much more enjoyable. I also kept a few pieces of fruit of my choosing in the cabin. I did find I could enjoy a few worthy tastes and treats with no worries as the extra movement offset any eating. celebrity's sweets most often look much better than they taste so at least that may not be much of a temptation. I lost 4lbs that Trip and that was after eating whatever I wanted in London for 3 days! Enjoy the trip and take care of yourself.

Fall 2013 we had a suite guarantee and got a Royal Suite! It was our honeymoon so the timing was perfect! That cruise was a 14 night out of Southhampton so we had lots of time to appreciate the suite. It is way out of our budget!!
Luminae, extra space and never waiting in a line are the primary reasons we book suites, when it makes financial sense.

We've seen shorts the first and last night on numerous Celebrity cruises out of Florida. Not on trans or Europe. Much more casual and the shorter the trip, the more casual the crowd. Enjoy!

Breakfast in Luminae is one of the highlights. The last morning of the trip having a full relaxed breakfast in Luminae is the best! Enjoy.

Thank you for all the great work you have done for all of us. Best wishes for an exciting future! I can't wait to see what you're up to! Enjoy.

I've sailed on Celebrity for years and there will be no concern about any dress code at lunch. In the Caribbean there is barley a dress code the first night at all!

We did the tour in fall of 2013. We thought it was a great value and we enjoyed the day. The train ride was charming! The tour included a bus and boat tour and a fun German family style lunch. There was a little time for shopping or sampling the German beer. It was a full fun day. Enjoy.

This tragic event will probably be what makes Celebrity take Istanbul off its itineraries. Risk clearly is now too high. So sad.

Thank you for the wonderful daily reviews and updates! E joy.

Dear friends from the Orlando area on your sailing so it's nice to keep an eye if their trip from a far! Thanks for doing this, enjoy!:)

The aft sky suites are a great space! Our favorite whichever deck! The additional large porthole and sitting area plus a large balcony and private hallway. A bit of a walk for some from the elevator but worth it! Enjoy.

Ruben is an exceptional emoloyee! He is kind, professional and efficient. We found him to be one of the best in Luminae on the the April trans. Enjoy!

The staff is more than happy to bring a salad at any meal. You can even request what you'd like in it, if available. Every dinner we had a side of steamed vegetables. At lunch, they easily put together a grilled chicken salad. Enjoy!

Thank you to Qefan for understanding my post. I am never surprised at the harsh comments of those who don't understand the point of a post.

"Fresh Fish
In one of the most unique offerings on a big ship we've come across, cruisers can purchase fresh fish at market price and have it cooked to order and served at any restaurant on board. Two to three times per cruise, a ship chef goes to a local fish market in a port of call to purchase several types of fresh fish; passengers can check out the selection at the Seafood Shack and either order what they want for lunch or pre-order dinner. (Selections must be made by lunch for dinner on the same day.) On our cruise, the chef purchased seabream and cod in Barcelona, seabass in Marseille and might might an additional purchase in Civitavecchia."
This is from a recent review. Made me remember the promise of locally sourced foods when dining in Lunimae, After three trips and nothing was locally sourced but looks like Carnival figured it out and no suite required! Lol!

We used the shopping break(30 minutes max) for an opportunity to sample some more German beer and a snack! Free time anyway you choose to spend it!

We enjoyed the train trip and tour of Berlin very much. The train ride was very enjoyable in a small red train that was very quaint to us. The tour included a river boat and bus tour. We had a great lunch and time for shopping. It was along day but worth the time and money. On of the few ships tours we'd recommend. Enjoy!

My experiences are you can get in any time. Keep checking your booking online. Enjoy!

The entire concept is overstated and under delivered. Ask for cheese or forget the entire thing. Sometimes nothing is better than getting these old, tired canapés.

Simply one of the most lovely towns! Oka. To spend more time here. Great shopping, bars and restaurants with amazing views. Less commercial than by the cable car. Enjoy!

Stop using false statements in marketing materials. I.e. There has been no locally sourced food for Luminae while in Europe, last season and now this.
-
Since Luminae opened, we meet for breakfast and depart from the dining room. Now with the suite luggage located easily in the front of baggage, we find this a relaxing way to end our voyage.
-
Our experience was that regardless of the type of suite, the service was excellent.
