  1. I too lost 75lbs with ww and still going. Last April when we sailed on the silhouette transatlantic for 13 nights I found bringing my own salad dressing made a big difference! Once opened, I left in the cabin refrigerator and brought it with me when I wanted to. This made entree salads and salads in general much more enjoyable. I also kept a few pieces of fruit of my choosing in the cabin. I did find I could enjoy a few worthy tastes and treats with no worries as the extra movement offset any eating. celebrity's sweets most often look much better than they taste so at least that may not be much of a temptation. I lost 4lbs that Trip and that was after eating whatever I wanted in London for 3 days! Enjoy the trip and take care of yourself.

  2. Fall 2013 we had a suite guarantee and got a Royal Suite! It was our honeymoon so the timing was perfect! That cruise was a 14 night out of Southhampton so we had lots of time to appreciate the suite. It is way out of our budget!!

Luminae, extra space and never waiting in a line are the primary reasons we book suites, when it makes financial sense.

  3. The staff is more than happy to bring a salad at any meal. You can even request what you'd like in it, if available. Every dinner we had a side of steamed vegetables. At lunch, they easily put together a grilled chicken salad. Enjoy!

  4. "Fresh Fish

In one of the most unique offerings on a big ship we've come across, cruisers can purchase fresh fish at market price and have it cooked to order and served at any restaurant on board. Two to three times per cruise, a ship chef goes to a local fish market in a port of call to purchase several types of fresh fish; passengers can check out the selection at the Seafood Shack and either order what they want for lunch or pre-order dinner. (Selections must be made by lunch for dinner on the same day.) On our cruise, the chef purchased seabream and cod in Barcelona, seabass in Marseille and might might an additional purchase in Civitavecchia."

This is from a recent review. Made me remember the promise of locally sourced foods when dining in Lunimae, After three trips and nothing was locally sourced but looks like Carnival figured it out and no suite required! Lol!
