We are cruising with friends on the Epic out of Barcelona. We are Gold members and wonder if they are able to check in with us in the prior cruiser line?

So it looks like we will be in Cannes during the 2 weeks of Film Festival. We are only there for one day for a stop on our cruise but it is my boyfriend's birthday. Any suggestions on what to do in port while not dealing with some of the crowds?

Yeah last time I saw one was back in 2013. Haven't seen them since. They're a great time though!

Thanks for posting a positive comments about the Summit. I understand she went through some upgrades and looking forward to sailing in 41 days.
I did have some questions about a few things since my only other Celebrity sailing was on the Reflection.
Sushi on Five - How does this work? Open all the time (lunch and dinner)....or just for dinner. I assume single piece pricing but would love more details.
Cellar Masters - loved it on Reflection and they had great events every night. Did you see something similar?

We just got off the Escape and we loved the food in Food Republic & Pinchos. Cagneys ribeye was excellent. Seriously the grilled squid and kimchee fried rice was GREAT!

We just got off the ship and then sun deck was very busy. The Bar wasn't too bad but it was hard to find a seat.

I always check Cruise TT.com and it doesn't give me the exact pier. Let's hope for the one near downtown as I want to do breakfast at the Museum.

We are sailing in 7 days on the BoS from Tampa. I can't seem to locate which port we will dock at in Cozumel. We have docked many times in Cozumel but I am wondering with 4 other ships in port if we will get stuck at the farther pier. Anyone know?

We just got off reflection and our favorite was Ricardo at the Martini bar. We loved him. We also had a favorite in the cellar master's. Dragona!

We just got off the Reflection today and from what I was told you can make reservations for select dining. we met a couple that had open dining and we just made reservations each night and got the same staff as we requested. We also did two speciality and it was pretty easy to get reservations. They gave a 20% discount when you done speciality on the first night.

When we were just there my bf loved to get up and watch the city wake up. We were staying in Venice and he just grabbed a coffee at a local shop near our little hotel. It happened to be near where there was a local fish stand. He loved watching it each morning. The set up and then watching the locals start showing up.

We like to give some cash to our room steward and bartenders outside if the other ways we tip(charge to room).
We are wondering if we should give them dollars or Euros? Cruising on the jade later this week!
We want the staff to benefit the most!

Has anyone been on the Jade within the last month or so? I have searched a few other boards but I was looking for Jade Dailies as well as a lift of the current officers. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am working on packing for our cruise on Sept 6th!

We are doing an overnight layover in Dublin on our way back to the US from our Greek Isles Cruise. We are wanting to head into Dublin to do a few quick things before the flight the next morning at 10:50 am. I am torn about whether to grab a hotel near the airport(taxi into town and back?) or stay in Dublin and take a taxi to the airport earlier in the morning.. Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on this problem?

I am from Dublin, it really is no that far to city centre. Grab a taxi if your stuck.

Since you are from Dublin I thought I would ask you directly a question about our layover in Dublin. We are doing an overnight layover coming back from our cruise in Venice. We arrive in Dublinat 1:30 pm on a Sunday and our flight back to the US doesn't leave until Monday at 10:50 am. We have been to Dublin before but our traveling companions have not. Thought a layover would be a quick way to enjoy the city. We want to head into Dublin and hit food & drinking. The question is whether to stay in a hotel inside the city of stay near the airport and grab a taxi into town. Any opinions?

We booked a five day on the Brilliance of the seas for New years 2015. This cruise will allow us to enjoy a Christmas holiday and also do a cruise. As always thank you for the comments and maybe a 5 day cruise will give me some additional time to write up a review!

What makes the shorter cruise less exciting is that you have to get off sooner.:D
We are also looking at a cruise over the NYE holiday so I think we should be fine for a lively group!

More days = better.
I agree however our last RCL cruise was an 8 day and it wasn't as much fun as our 7 day cruises. We are in our mid 30's and late 40's and we enjoy meeting new people. although we meet some really nice people the night time energy was as great as our 7 day cruises (both RCL & NCL). Just trying to figure out how the 5 days are on RCL. There is a great deal for a 5 day cruise over New Years.

We just got off the Apex and had the exact same issue in our room 6231. I recorded the noise as well. It was the worse when we had rougher seas and were running full steam. It started Day 3 but was the worse going into Day 5. Again like most have cruised a lot and understand that ships creak but this is different. We were lucky that there was another room available to move and it was only 2 doors down. No issues at all!
