  1. The problem is your country of residence. It is not the US it is the UK. You are only here on a work visa and not considered a resident unless you have a green card. Complete the on board check and out the UK as your country of residence.

  2. With the new fly2fun program YOU choose your flights, you are not 'assigned' flights.

The flight with the 14 hour layover is probably the cheapest one out there but you don't have to choose that one. For a few more dollars you can pick one that is convenient for YOU, IF there is anything available.

Flights to Europe are not as plentiful as domestic flights so there are fewer options. This is even more so if you are flying from a small town and not a major international hub.

  3. From Carnival

Cruise credits are issued in the name of the original payee, regardless of whether they were ever booked in the cancelled reservation.

For bookings paid with a travel agency credit card or check, the cruise credit will then be issued in the name of the cancelled guest.

Perhaps you booked through a travel agent ss70chev

  4. Guests are entitled to bring onboard the same quantity per guest, per cruise which is one bottle of wine or champagne per guest 21 and over. The additional quantities will be stored for safekeeping at the start of the first cruise and will be given to the guest as each cruise begins.

  5. Seems you booked under the flyaweigh program. You would have had to change to the new program prior to final payment. Final payment is due 75 days prior to the cruise so if you are 67 days away you cannot change it over without a penalty.

You are trying to combine the two programs when looking at the FAQs and you cant do that.

  6. Early Saver is the name of a promotion just the same as past guest, resident, military etc. are all promotional rates.

Booking early is not the same as booking under the early saver promo. If you want to be able to match prices later you will need to book under the Early Saver promotional rate.

  8. Someone is not getting it whether it be your TA or whomever. It ends up being a he said/she said conversation.

Once you book early saver you can NEVER not be early saver. Yes you might change to a past guest rate BUT the booking always has early saver roots.

You can change to military or resident and back to past guest then senior and back to past guest but no matter what you will always be under early saver rules and restrictions with whatever new promo you price match to.

Your booking will show as Past Guest but when anyone looks in the history of the booking they can see that at some point you changed to early saver and from that point forward you are always early saver plus whatever promo you changed to.
