ManyMore is correct. The check-in staff are not carnival employees but an outside, third party company and they do work most of the cruise lines at a specific port.
Carnival's job is to provide cruises not immigration information. There is no way for them to know the requirements of every country in the world so anyone that is not a US citizen should make sure for themselves which paperwork they need to leave and re-enter the country. They should also make sure they don't need any addtionial visas for the countries they are going to visit.
Aliens (non U.S citizens) and Resident Aliens of the United States must contact the appropriate Consulates to inquire about necessary travel documentation. Immigration and Naturalization Service determines the proper documents which guests must have available in order to sail.

You can move the non military person to the new cabin with the new person. Nothing will change in the original cabin so you won't lose the obc and it will still be under early saver for future price drops. The new cabin would be booked at the current prices.

What should I do once I find a lower rate?
Complete a price protection claim form. If the request meets the price protection requirements, we will process the fare difference and send you an email confirmation within 2 business days of your request.
· If the booking is not paid in full – the cruise fare will be re-priced.
· If the booking is paid in full – the difference of fare will be issued as a non-refundable gross on board credit.
-
Just remember if you booked under any of the reduced deposits, this promotion does not have a reduced deposit. If you put in for the price drop make sure you've paid the balance of the regular deposit before your cruise cancels.
-
If you paid $300 less than the total cost of your cruise I am sure it is safe to assume the $300 credit was applied.

Yes you can transfer the money just call and ask Carnival for the 'transfer of credit form'.
As long as you are the original credit card holder there is no problem.
-
If you have a large group then the dining request should made through Carnival and not the maitre'd. Call and ask for the group event planning number/email address.
By large group do you mean at least 20 people? Usually if all the bookings are linked together then the maitre'd will do his best to make sure everyone sits close together, that's been my experience.

Upgrades start from category 4A at minimum not the 1A. Try looking at a 4A and you will see the upgrade from there.
-
Yes, they do, if the price you see is lower at carnival.com not another provider and it's within 48 hours of booking.
-
Yes you can but only up to the day before the final payment date. After that you may be able to upgrade if a higher category is the same price as you are paying.
-
The other thing to consider is how much did you pay for your cabin as opposed to what the cost is today with the obc?

Coming down I-95 look for the sign to Port Miami via tunnel. It is fantastic and brings you right out by the terminals. It bypasses downtown Miami so you won't have to mess with any of that awful traffic and lights. One the way back take the tunnel out of the port and you will be right back on I-95.
-
If you call Carnival they will have the information. Perhaps you could make arrangements to send it to Carnival and they could mail it to the passengers.
-
What I mean by 'no passenger restriction' is that if you are booking a suite you can book one that holds 4 even if you only have 2 people.
If you booked one that only holds 3 and want to add another then no, you can't and you would have to change cabins.
-
There are 4 Spa Suites available on the Magic 11/22/15.
You don't have to worry about how many people you put in as the suites are not under any passenger restrictions like the other cabins.
-
The $379 per person for an ocean view seems VERY low when the lowest price now for an ocean view is $1599 each. I can't imagine how it could have been $379 plus on board credit.
Are you sure you had the right cruise?

If you only book under the casino offer (never booked early saver first) you can only do price adjustments until the day before final payment. If the rate goes lower it would adjust your balance down by that much. If you have already paid your cruise in full before the final payment date you would receive a refund.
-
The 25% discount you were offered has everything to do with the cruise rate you are paying and your current rate of $1855.50.
You will only be eligible for price drops if the rate for your cabin goes below $1855.50
You can't double dip a discount with a price protection guarantee.
This is simply not true. I just did this with a booking, same scenario have 25% discount from the Alaska cruise. The booking was repriced to the new lower rate and the 25% discount was reapplied on the new lower amount.

Seeing as you're in the UK did you call a UK number? If that's the case anyone here would be giving you information as though you booked through the US site or US agents and the answers would not apply. Things are different in the UK.

WRONG INFO, below is correct.
QUESTION: Will Guest Services have an additional Platinum line since this may increase the amount of guests using this line onboard?
ANSWER: The VIFP Platinum/Diamond line will be co-branded with FTTF and will be available to Platinum, Diamond and FTTF guests.
