One thing I have done for the past twenty years is I close my account the night before debarkation. Usually around eleven that evening. Never had any problems doing that. No surprises in the mornings when you get that slip of paper slid under your door with your expenses. I'm not a fan of standing in line the morning of debarkation to correct errors.😉
Same it is my goal to leave with a zero balance as well.. i have also gone and paid some during the week if i happen to win any money, you can pay down your account on the kiosks with cash!!

We cruised out of NYC at Xmas a few years ago, first day by far the largest seas I have been in on a cruiseship.
we are leaving out of port Canaveral next Sunday the 5th.. praying for calm seas

So far I have been on the Vista and absolutely loved it!!! Going on the magic in 12 days from now so soon I can report back ! LOL the vista was amazing, she has so much to offer, so many decks i never had an issue finding a lounge chair as long as you didn't need to be right at the pool area.. I stayed on deck 14 was very convenient to access the Lido and watch movies right outside our cabin... i just thought the Vista was top notch.. went on the Paradise after the Vista and realized that class is not my favorite anymore !! Gotta do Vista class once at least.. Looking forward to the Magic she seems like a smaller version !

So I lost my physical gift card but have the numbers and pin. You think I can still add it at the kiosk ?

It has been many voyages since we actually walked into a buffet. And will only use a buffet as a last resort.
There are far too many other & better options.

Yes! came here to say this.. I LOVE the MDR breakfast... only go to the buffet in a real hunger emergency lol

I tried the lobster roll and it was meh at best. BUT the oysters were AMAZING and i will def be getting some with my OBC on my March 22 cruise on the Magic.. if it sails of course !! 🙂

Yes, you do have to take it out of your checked bag.. we wait until we get to florida to buy our wine/pop !

We did this and it was great. You can use it on anything you buy AND you can download the surplus if any to a casino machine and cash it out and get the remaining money.... no need to wait for a check from Carnival.. It was a great way for us to stay on budget... we had our credit card for back up if needed..

How we did this , is pre-order a four pack of beers in our room pre cruise, then ask for a bucket and ice, we put our starter beers in said bucket, then replenished it all day as we drank them. Even at night when I was not drinking anymore, id grab beers to start tomorrows bucket and start all over, i kept the bucket with me all week .. happy husband who also LOVES a bucket of cold ones 🙂
