This happened in a hotel, not a cruise, but I almost tripped over a young kid fooling around in a very crowded hallway and told her to "behave yourself." Only thing I said and I walked into the restroom.
When I came out of the stall, the kid and her grandmother were standing there, waiting for me. The grandmother started yelling at me for what I did to her granddaughter. Um, I tried to prevent an accident? If I had tripped and fallen on the kid, whose fault would that have been?!?

My comment is which port do you want to fly in/out of? I'd rather fly into Fort Lauderdale and fly home from San Diego (or Los Angeles).

I also love wandering around the libraries to see what's to read. Yes, my Kindle has a lot of books but it's one more thing to pack/charge/worry about losing. Yes, I could lose the ship's book, but I don't have to charge it to read it.

Great, another review to read so I can pretend I'm on board instead of on shore :)

So sorry to hear what happened on your cruise. I must say I like the idea of the ice bucket :)

I appreciate the OP's question and the responses as I was also trying to decide which deck.

Sorry to hear about embarkation issues. We love SD as a port because we stay in the hotel across the street and can walk right over to the ship. We have sailed out of here many times and yes, sometimes there can be delays. But if you ask me, the worst cruise port is Bayonne, New Jersey. You'd have to pay me to sail from there again!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of your issues with trying to get a table for two. I hope HAL is listening because what's the point of open dining if they let people reserve an "open" table for the entire cruise?
