Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We reserved the entire boat. We were only three couples and then "met" two other couples in the online facebook group for our sailing and DM'd each other to make arrangements, splitting the cost five ways. I'd email Rosie through their website and ask if they would do "spots" like you mention. I'm really not sure.
  2. For our day in Tortola last week off the Celebrity Ascent, we booked a day on the water with Antilles Powerboats. We were three couples and found two more couples on the cruise facebook page to share the excursion for a total of 10 of us. Phil is hysterically funny and personable, but always safe and very mindful of keeping you on schedule and returning to the ship at the time you request. Before I booked, I had emailed to ask if we could customize the itinerary a little bit and his wife Rosie, who handles all the emails, said that was no problem at all. He meets you at Village Cay Marina which is a very short walk from the boat, and there are plenty of locals at the pier to point you in the right direction. We went to White Bay at Jost first and spent about two hours there in front of Soggy Dollar. Then we headed to Pirates Bight on Norman Island for lunch [delicious food]. After that, we went snorkeling in the Caves followed by some time at the Willy T’s. His boat was very comfortable with an awesome sound system … and Phil has a great playlist!! He also supplies towels and an ice chest with water, beer, seltzers and painkillers. We lucked out and had beautiful weather and smooth seas, so it was a really fun day and would not hesitate to book with this company again. The only thing I would do differently is drop the Willy T. It was on my list of must-dos, but we personally thought it was a little boring [maybe it’s more fun at night or depends on the crowd??] and would have preferred another beach or snorkel stop.
