  1. Thanks for the information! We are in a suite on Equinox next month and are looking forward to experiencing Luminae.

Best Wine You Have PURCHASED on Board X??

Our favorites onboard Celebrity have been Toscana Pian Di Nova Il Borro (Italy), Puligny Montrachet (Chardonnay - France), Chiarello Family Estates - Bambino (Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa), Grgich Hills (Chardonnay - Napa) and Craggy Range (New Zealand). Overall, we've been quite impressed with the wine selection onboard Celebrity. The Sommelier on our last cruise (Reflection) said that Celebrity carries 10,000 bottles on each ship with 480 different selections.

Just got a call from Connie's Concierge

Nice! We are in a Sky Suite on Equinox in May, but I believe Luminae will be completed and operational by then. It will be nice for you to enjoy Ocean Liners and Tuscan Grille on your cruise!
  4. Sounds fabulous! We loved the Lawn Club Grill, but it was much warmer that your experience. Love the food on Celebrity.

Sail A Way-Best Place To Be On The Equinox?

We enjoy sail away on the Lawn Club with a glass of wine or champagne in hand. Great views from both sides of the ship!

Will Celebrity sail pacific coastal again?

We recently saw a new 9 night Pacific Coastal Wine Cruise sailing roundtrip from San Francisco on Celebrity Infinity September 4, 2015. It was evidently created when a company chartered the ship for 5 days in San Francisco and the 14 night Alaska roundtrip became a 9 night Coastal cruise and 5 night charter. So says my travel agent.
  7. Cruise advice from a hologram? Check out what Celebrity Cruises displayed yesterday at the LA Times Travel Show!
  8. Yes, we purchased the book this summer and love it! But I'd describe it as more of an entertaining or lifestyle book than just a cookbook. It has great entertaining tips, recipes, wine tips, and behind the scenes insights. Very enjoyable coffee table book.

    Silhouette Secrets

The Hideaway on deck 7/8 is really cool. Lawn Club Grille was really fun and great steaks. Q'Sine was amazing. Enomatic machines in Cellarmasters were great. One day they offered unlimited enomatic tasting for $40. Don't miss Walk Around the World if you're into wine. Twelve wines from six countries and appetizers for $20pp. Star Chefs competition was very entertaining.

    Eclipse American Girl Cruise

Our travel agent told us that the American Girl Cruise has 760 people sailing in the group, mostly triple and quad staterooms with mothers, daughters, and dolls.

    June Solstice Med Cruise

Yes, we are considering the Solstice 6/16/12 Mediterranean Cruise, as it's being hosted by Eric Wente from Wente Vineyards and seems like an amazing package that includes a welcome aboard wine reception, two wine tasting events, a four course luncheon in Tuscan Grille, and two tours. We were quoted $2,499 for a Concierge Class stateroom!

    Reidel Wine Workshop

My wife and I LOVED the Riedel Wine Workshop on our Solstice Mediterranean Cruise this past summer. The tasting was really enjoyable, great wines, and the stemware delivered promptly and in great condition. We've been enjoying the stemware every evening!

When do they put up the CHRISTMAS decorations?

My wife and I just sailed on Century 11/1/11 from Ensenada to Honolulu on Century and all the Christmas decorations (trees, lights, etc.) were up! Seemed early, but it was beautifully decorated and the ship looked great!

    Hideaway on Sillhoutte

The hideaway was a very quiet place when I was onboard Silhouette. People reading books, listening to iPods with headphones, and reading iPads. Very Cool spot! You enter the Hideaway on Deck 7, where there are cool chairs and coffee available. Entrance to the tree houses is via Deck 8. Absolutely no worry about noise from the Hideaway.
