Sorry pittmh, I left off the "S". I should have wrote  "...Dealer HIT on S17 at all tables

With regard to paying off a $6 bet on a 6.5 BJ...
Casino will rounddown to nearest 0.50 cents. A $6 bet would win $7.20 but only pays $7. You loose another $0.20.
To minimize the house edge on a 6/5 table one should always bet in $5 increments.

My thoughts are the $6 min on a 6/5 table is a marketing ploy as it's attractive for those on a low budget that may not understand their getting shorted on a BJ when betting $6.

thank you for the detailed explanation

they ARE capable of producing good and included in cruise fare desserts. I've had some in the MDR. It's the buffet where they are usually bad.

It's been like that for as long as I remember (Not just RCI).  The deserts on the buffet always look nice but taste bland.  Going way back, I remember the grand midnight buffets always looked nice when you walked through it but when it came time to actually eat from it was usually disappointing.

We are currently on Odyssey. We got a  casita for every sea day and were lucky enough to score Casita 1 right on the main pool area near the kids area.  When you book every sea day, you get the same one each day.  The lounger is padded and much larger & more comfortable (padded/roomy) than the regular loungers. You get an ice chest w/ice and 4 waters, a lockbox and while not enclosed with solid privacy curtains you have good  space without a body right next to you. You have a call button to call your waiter whenever you need a drink. For this location, it was 100% worth it for us. We are loving it. No rush to get to the pool area to reserve a chair and no worries to leave your casita for periods of time. As always, whether it’s worth it to you is a personal decision, but we would do it again. It’s not for everyone, but definitely for us.

I'm not the type that likes to worry about having to find chairs on a sea day.  Would like to have a nice relaxing breakfast in the morning not having to worry about it.  But is it worth the $200 when in all probability I find chairs at a good location anyways 😄.  And by good location I mean 2-4 together, doesn't even have to be in the front row of the pool

  4. I sailed once on Yeshiva week, downside that certain venues closed for the group only (I believe the Wipeout café was one of them, which would have been convenient to grab some food by the pool).  Upside was pool deck was as empty as I've ever seen it on a Sea Day for Saturday, as I'm assuming many of the attendees were observing the Sabbath at that time.

On the specia lYeshiva Week sailings they sometimes use part of the Windjammer for the overflow from the Bistro and yes, they would get the same fresh Glatt Kosher meals food.

one thing I noticed on the Yeshiva week cruise I was on was that the pool deck/solarium was empty on the last Saturday/sea day, which I assume was due to many on the trip observing Sabbath and not out and about?  Never saw a sea day so empty by the pools.
