Been to Palm beach before and Loved it but they don't have the chair rental place we use to go to anymore. Anyway- any idea's of a calm beach area with beach chair and umbrella rental along with a bar and clean bathrooms? we have 10 people going. Price range not to crazy please!

We were there last week and paid $20 for two chairs and an umbrella about 20 ft from the water.
We walked down by Jacks Shack.
Thank You! We can handle that...lol Hubby has a hard time walking so we are not going to go all the way to Jack's this time but will walk a bit toward there!

I know there is free chairs somewhat by the water...but we would like with umbrella's and some that are closer to the actual water. Can you please tell me how much the venders charge for them?

Was in Amber Cove this past week on the Mardi Gras.
Water slides are open -- two of them, one open and one enclosed. Umbrellas are $20 for the day. Zip line all day pass is also $20.
Chairs are pretty plentiful in the first couple of hours, then at least for us got crowded. Depends how many ships are in port, of course. We had two others (one Celebrity and one Holland America) with us. And being Thanksgiving week, the Mardi Gras was carrying the most passengers EVER (!!) on a Carnival ship, at nearly 6400.
Pool was great, there's a small lazy river and a swim up bar, and one end is zero entry,
A good friend of mine just got back last month and stated she paid $70. for 2 chairs and a umbrella over by the bar and the zero entry. every other chair is free but those- because of their location. They told her that You can't pay through carnival you have to go up the the rental office. Does anyone know about these?

So what is the difference between Bikini Beach/Kontiki and Great Bay other then I know Bikini is part of Orient? Prices? rocky? incline? Busier? closer? Just curious and still trying to compare and decide for about 20 of us.

Hello, we are a large group mid 50 to 65 yr old's that is looking for the perfect beach day. Last time we were here before Irma we spent the day at Kontiki and it was lovely. As I'm looking now it looks like there is a lot of sea weed, can someone who has been lately tell me if this is just the new thing? We are looking for a not rocky, not steep, {some of us can't walk to well} and not full of seaweed. We would love to rent chairs and umbrellas as we drink a ice cold one and look at the beautiful view, along with taking a swim. We need simple no water taxi's. Not at all interested in the airplanes or that beach! Can you help us out with idea's of beach's?

we have used Corfu taxi tours twice
first time had tour of island with beaches
second time up into mountainous villages where mixed with locals
we were 4 of us in a regular sedan so don't know whether he has larger vans or would suggest 2 cars for party of 7
website is here
I am looking for prices on this tour do you remember the price for 4?

Hello all. I was reading a very old post about taking a cab right there from the port and that they were offering a "panoramic tour" for a good price. My question is does anyone know about this and if so how much is it per cab. I read it was about 1 hour long and fabulous. Someone in our group has mobility issues and I thought that would be great for her to see the beautiful Dubrovnik.

Is there a cost to get into Moomba Beach and if so how much? also what is the average cost of the chairs and umbrellas?
-
Hello, We are looking forward to going to Mambo Beach in a couple of weeks on our carnival ship but I have a few questions. How much is the entry fee? how much are the loungers? Umbrellas? Pool? water jump toys? There is 12 of us and we will all share taxis to get there from the port. Thank you

Looking for ... Anyone have any idea's other then taxi?
-
Yes you can get off. They'll give you an "In Transit" ticket so that you can bypass all the lines and sail right back on the ship. When we did ours we went to our cars to get a new round of sodas and wine to take on the second half and we were back on the ship in less than 5 minutes. You can have her let you know when they start boarding and you can walk off and meet her then.
Thank You very much, this is so nice to know!

You pack up your stuff and leave it in the room. The steward will move it to the new room. I doubt they'll let your friend on the ship early. You'll be escorted off back through customs and right back on. When we did it in December we had the whole ship to ourselves for 2 hours.
Yeah, I doubt it too! I would like to get off in time to meet her though so we could get our picture taken together (I collect the first picture on boar). Maybe they will let me just go back down or she can purchase the FTTF? She hasn't been on a cruise in over 20 years and that was on the small ships..lol and... She was the one to introduce me to the wonderful world of cruising.

I am doing my first B2B in October of this year {so excited} can you please tell me if since I am changing rooms {just going next door} what the procedure is? do I pack up all of my items? if so when? and what do I do with them? I am meeting a friend who is going to join me in the same cabin so also can you tell me what the procedure will be for that? should I meet her later or will they let her aboard early{just wishful thinking maybe}?

I thought about waiting until the November sailing (the next itinerary we like) but that would ruin our every October cruising... lol

We've booked the Conquest for the second sailing after dry dock and I have the same concerns. I've asked the same question on this topic and what I've been told is that it depends on how extensive the renovations are.
At some point they will announce their intended renovations so that will help in making our plans. We were on the Conquest this past June and they have Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina, the rum and tequila bars, so hopefully the repairs will be minor.
Maybe a Serenity Deck? That is the only 2.0 she did not get yet I do believe:)

Didn't sound like they actually experienced it before though. I can so handle not worrying about them still working as long as we can still cruise... If we purchase our airline tickets not so sure about getting them reimbursed though.
-
I just read where a few (4 posts maybe) stated it was a big concern of theirs. I actually never thought of it. I was thinking it would be all new and refurbished... Just then I read all of their conversations and so I had to ask. Didn't sound like they actually experienced it before though, ;)
