  1. This was our 5th cruise, second with family.

Overall our best so far. Dynamic Dining left us knowing that we will not go back to MDR concept in future sailings.

Our boys made great use of teen and Ocean Adventure activities. The Seaplex was popular with both of them. The longest any of them waited for bumper cars was about 10-15 mins. The aft pool area never seemed crowded but was also the area I had the biggest problem with. Having a smoking area anywhere near where there will be a steady traffic of kids let alone any passenger just seemed dumb.

We were number 3 on the waiting list for cabanas at Coco Cay. Secured one the night before arrival after going on the waiting list at 5pm they day we got onboard. Well worth the money.

A bit more on the dining. We had made reservations well before the sailing date but probably used 2 of them. After our youngest boy decided he wanted to eat with his pals at Adventure Ocean and our teen was rarely seen, it left us changing our dining times and restaurants. We ate at the four no charge ones, but also included Jamie's Italian and Izumi. Yes, I gained a few pounds!

A great time had by all.

  2. You will be your own best judge, IMHO. Book the cruise and enjoy it!

We were on the 3 Day cruise and REALLY enjoyed it lot! We had no problems with shows or dynamic dining even though we booked the cruise two days before boarding.

    Exactly! Be your own judge!

Too me its kinda silly for someone who WAS NOT ON THE CRUISE to take a reviewer stance. Its challenging enough to read a critique from someone who was there rather than someone who wasnt.

  3. We have booked Mamma Mia for Day 2 in the afternoon and a couple of restaurants for the first couple of days.

We will then take our chances for the rest of our 8 night cruise that we board on Jan 3rd.

I don't like my cruises to be too regimented.

There will be tables available. They never allow every single table at 7:45 to be pre booked in advance.

I dont like to get over regimented either but I got tweets strongly recommending booking all entertainment & dining pre cruise. Just one less thing to be concerned about.

    Cheers!

  4. Sorry guys, looks like food porn and the rest of Roatan are going to have to wait until tomorrow. My computer has decided to go on the fritz today while editing my client images and it's giving me all kinds of memory errors even though I am only using 12%. I am about to do a disk cleanup/ defrag which will take hours since I have 1TB of data on this computer and then will run a full scan just to make sure nothing is hidden in a file and causing everything to lag!

If anything changes, I'll be back but most likely not tonight!

So no food porn because your PC got a headache? I guess I can wait another day

    Cheers,

    Jeff
