I don't know about the bars you mentioned but we will for sure check in early. We know the casitas are above the pool but because we are going in July so we want to make sure we have a place to sit and for sure a covered place to sit. We would also like some elbow room not to mention the perks. My wife and I will take turns going down to the pool with the Triplets.

    How was the casita?

I eat in the windjammer most nights. Had my seat and chair stolen twice when I got up to get a dessert or second dish.

Someone tried to do that to me at breakfast one morning. They just moved my coffee over and everything. When I came back with my food, they tried to make a big deal about giving my seat back and not ruining my day… I wasn’t even sitting at a table, it was a bar facing the window. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I was told by a good friend to put a glass of water and silverware to save my seat. Anything goes in the windjammer.

Just wondering...will magnet decorations stick to Grandeur's stateroom doors?  Thanks.

They should because the magnet they have on your door for not being disturbed or whatever it says will be on the inside of your door when you get in your room. Mine mysteriously disappeared after a day and I had to request a replacement….

FWIW, The Key finally went on sale for my sailing. Five dollars a day over the cost of the internet. So, you can find a good discount if you keep checking the cruise planner. That works for me because I abhor standing in lines.

How far out is your sailing and what class of ship?

We went to Solarium Bistro on Harmony on embarkation days.  We did a B2B in Dec and both embarkation days it was very uncrowded.  It was a much better experience than the Windjammer.

Can you tell me if there is a b2b lunch? I read about it somewhere, but maybe it’s something they no longer do. This is for Harmony.

@Scottdalfonso stated, contamination in the pools was a long thread just recently discussed and it seems as if it will be on ongoing problem.

As I stated in that thread, I sailed the Vision in April. When the one and only pool that all ages gets shutdown due to any reason, it really affects the vibe during the day.

@PhillyFan33579, you identify the weakness of staff enforcing the rules, hard to get a "10" from customers when you tell them something they do not want to hear let alone do. I do not think they get support from management when they do try and enforce the rules which leads to the "look the other way" on inappropriate behavior.

If I see people doing disgusting things (swim diaper and consequences in a pool) and the staff does nothing when it’s brought to their attention, they will not be getting a 10 or anything not considered a detractor. That being said, I didn’t use the pool on my last cruise and they did get a good survey. I honestly don’t understand parents who think swim diapers in a pool, especially a public pool is okay. It’s really too bad that the purple die you see in movies isn’t a thing. (The movie Grownups at the water park, for reference).
