  1. Alaska season just started in May so there are no 2016 reviews yet.

Last summer Legend was also doing the Alaska routes so you can find review for 2015 in Alaska......

Go to the ports of call....Alaska....there is a pinned thread at the top with 2015 Alaska reviews on it......HTH:)

  2. Yup, just to confirm what everyone else said about them waiting in the lounge.

My daughter passed out during the muster drill  so they escorted us into the lounge where all the disabled passengers where having their drill.

They let everyone leave there early as well. :)

    Enjoy your cruise!!

  3. My brother is a Expat living in Japan and his passport got stolen on a business trip in China.

He went to the US Embassy and was able to get an emergency passport in 3 days there.

That passport was good for 6 months.

Good luck and hopefully it all works out!

  4. So to Update....

We cruised last week and did a Best of Roatan Private Tour with Victor Bodden.

After touring around our driver dropped us off at West Bay.

OMG it's was beautiful. Water was clear and flat.

We didn't get chairs or a day pass anywhere since we only planned on being there a couple of hours and most of that time was spent in the water.

We went down towards the big rocks where our driver said the snorkeling was best. Also the beach was wider down there so there was room to toss our stuff on the beach.

It was actually just passed where Carnival takes it's people as I saw tons of loungers with Carnival towels on them. :)

Lots of vendors walking around but they moved on after a no thank you. You could also rent jet skis, paddle boards, water toys. We didn't do any of that but it was available.

  5. Whwre did you find buy one get one, I just booked directly and didnt see this deal

We are taking Cayman Eco Adventures in two weeks. Do you know about what time you got back to the dock? I think Kat said it was around 2:30 ish (local) just wanted to see how close you were to that?

Glad to hear it went well. I'm sooooo excited to go!

  7. Eegads! I think I would have had the same reaction. Was it a seven-day cruise? I only ask because that is so much higher than the upsell offer I took for four of us from a balcony to an OS on a 7-day Pride cruise last year.

Yes, it was the 7 day cruise out of San Juan on the Victory.

  8. Two years ago I got a call to move from a Balcony to an Ocean Suite....

    Price.....$2000

I started laughing...I was like I only paid $2100 for the four of us for the cruise.

I could do a SECOND cruise for what you want me to pay for a Suite.

Once I stopped laughing I turned him down. LOL

  9. So we are traveling with two kids (12 & 9).

Which is a better beach area to go to with them?

    West End or West Bay?

Looking for some snorkeling/sand play.....food and restrooms would be helpful too

    Thanks!

  10. We went with Cayman Eco in May. Had a wonderful time. Boat was not crowded. 11 including captain and crew. When we pulled up to the sandbar the stingrays acted as if they knew the crew because they all come over to where we were even before they broke out the fish. Once our time was over there we took a short ride out to the reef where we were able to snorkel for a good bit. After that we went over to starfish point which was our 4 year olds favorite spot. Very relaxed and shallow. We were able to hold several starfish. Our daughter was very excited about that stop. We will be going back to Grand Cayman in July 2015 and will be going on the tour with Cayman Eco Tours again.

    Thanks for an updated review!!

  11. Yay! A legend review. We go in July.

BTW I totally hear you on getting gas by the Tampa Airport!!! We flew in there last summer to go to Disney (Saved $$ instead of Orlando).

We drive back the morning of our flight and can't find gas for the rental. Actually went thru the WHOLE airport and back out cause NOTHING was on the way in!!!

Oh to make it worse our youngest DD had thrown up in the car about 20 min before we got there for we wanted to get her changed and clean up better then the quicky we did on the side of I-4.

Eventually we found 7-11 and took care of it! Thank goodness we had PLENTY of time. It was a bit stressful even then and I felt bad for my poor DD.

  12. Sting Ray City Review:

I highly recommend you to use the Cayman Eco Adventures tour on the Cayman Island. It took us about two minutes to find our group, The tour guide, Kevin, told us that they never leave without anyone behind and that they would take you even if you were the only one. Then, we took a bus to a small dock. The ride was about 15 minutes long. After that, we took a medium sized boat to the sandbar. The boat was very safe, and there was a bathroom. The ride took about 20 minutes. But, the ride flies by. You get to see the beautiful water, and we even saw a giant sea turtle! When we got close to the sandbar, the tour guide told us a little about the stingrays. Kevin cares about the safety of sea creatures as much as the tourists' safety. It was very clear, clean and shallow. Soon, the stingrays were surrounding us. Then, Kevin pulled out the food. The sting rays loved it. You had to hold your hand in a fist with the bait sticking out, and the sting rays would suck it out of your hand. It was really cool. Our tour guide gave us a chance to kiss and hug the rays. They were like little puppies. They loved eating food and getting loving. After we were all done, which was about half and hour, we got back on the boat. Then we rode about 4-5 minutes to the snorkeling spot. He offered marks and snorkels. All equipment is in good condition. The coral was very beautiful. Kevin told us the names of all the fish if we asked. After we were done snorkeling, we rode for about 10 minutes to Starfish Point. Starfish Point was very pretty, and the starfish were bigger than my hand. When we were all ready to leave, we took a 25 minute boat ride back to the dock. This excursion was the highlight of our trip!

Thanks been looking for a recent review! We are booked with them for July! I can't wait. :)
