    Are travel kettles allowed in cabins? I know we can use room service at any time but I do like to be able to quickly make a hot drink sometimes. Some other lines I've been on have kettles in the cabins even though they have room service.

    Leaving ship once 'embarked'

    Is it possible to leave the ship once 'embarked' on embarkation day? Typically if embarkation is from 12.30 and you don't sail till six pm is it possible to get off and visit the port?

    Southampton UK disembarkation

    I am being met by family at Southampton when my cruise finishes and have a few questions:

     

    - ticket says must disembark by nine am - is this definitive?

    - where does Azamara dock?

    - if being met where does one arrange to be picked up?

    Are embarkation times the same for everyone on all cruises?

    I'm travelling independently so wonder what is the 'best' time to arrive at the ship?

    I'm on the same guarantee OV - Journey aug 8th - MidWestChick ....fingers crossed we do OK! Anyone know if Azamara take account of previous cruises etc. in any allocations?

    Wow UKTOG wish I knew about the overseas 'scanning' site! I've just taken the plunge and booked my first GTY ocean view on the back of all the helpful comments but would be much happier knowing which cabin I had!

    Open passage voucher - confirm value please?

    I bought an Open Passage voucher last July for £75 aboard Journey and I recall the paperwork with it showed I would gain a £300 discount on a 12 nt ocean view room. Unfortunately I have now mislaid that sheet of paper and am only being offered £200 against it. Can anyone confirm it should be £300 ? Thanks!

    Thanks for all these responses - good to get a balanced view - I seem to have read of US changes to rooms allocated too and was wondering if it was possible in the UK.

    Single Supplement - Website Frustration

    I'm also really frustrated with the solo pricing at the moment Tim. Having had exactly the same problems as yourself with the website ( I tried a number of different cruises but could find no 125% single offers) I phoned Azamara yesterday only to be told there were no 125% offers at the moment. The advice was to look at the home page each day when it would be evident if some become available. Goodness knows where it will show up if they are! Azamara was always a good line for solos - looks like things are changing? Or am I still missing the way to access the 125%?
