My last cruise I tried to do the last min deals. I saw the prices go down a little for an inside cabin then 2 weeks before the cruise they jumped and and window cabins became a better deal. Two days later no inside cabins available. I booked a cabin with a window to the Promenade deck. Slightly more than an inside but It was a great room.

I'm allways looking over cruise deals. Not that I'm interested in anything specific, just looking. Not sure how I missed it earlier but when I saw that STYX was on the Fantasy in Nassau. I booked it immediately and bought the VIP tickets.

If you're snorkeling in the Caribbean and you're fair skinned, I highly recommend using a swim shirt. Sunscreen will eventually wash off and your back can get fried, since it's exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time.

I could feel the burn after 30 min. It hurt after an hour. I should have quit while I was ahead.

Everything has to be reported? We bought jewelry in Puerto Rico and paid tax at the shop. It was a piece less than 2000. I thought since we paid tax there I didn't have to declare it. Am I wrong?

We were just in St maartin last week with the NCL Gem. I wasn't looking for them, but I honestly did not see any mosquitos. Saw some tiny bugs flying around. I would call then knats. But no mosquitos noticed. We did a good long bus tour around both sides of the island.

Your 14 yo may be able to get a non drivers ID through your motor vehicle department. In NY it is an option. Your local sheriff may have something as well.

With NCL, while on board, if you put a 250 deposit on a future cruise, they give you a 100 credit on your current cruise. Plus you can purchase up to 4 deposits and transfer them to others as gifts. I think they are good for 6 years.

I've only been on 2 cruises and on different lines. Both were awesome. There might have been a couple issues but nothing that wasn't worked out or even worth mentioning.

I agree with koolbeans. Some people just can't be pleased and look for bad things. I hope in your mingling you don't spend much time with this type of people. They will ruin a cruise for someone else.
