Hope you have a perfect cruise!  We are excited about our cruise on Oasis in two weeks and staying optimistic. Hopefully we will be informed and updated regularly.

RC is really good with that stuff that's why we choose them! Have fun on Oasis! We are going on Oasis May 10th from NJ! I love that ship! It's simply amazing!! 🙂

Respectfully disagree. I would never downplay what is happening right now and we all should be concerned and make decisions accordingly. I will never blindly follow the 'if they really thought it was a problem, they wouldn't let people off' theory. Follow your gut and make decisions that are best for you and don't let anyone shame you for that decision.

Your opinion. My mom said everything was fine on the ship and the captain came on an assured people they were cleaning the ship when they came off for the next cruise. I have my opinion and you have yours.

Does anyone have any information about disembarkation from the Anthem if you are not Chinese? Are they letting all people off?

Yes, my mom is on this cruise now. They started Disembarkation at 8:30am and the 12 Chinese people are being flown home. They are making this into more of a big deal than it is. The ship is fine. The next cruise is a tad delayed for cleaning.  We will be on the ship in March and we are not worried. If they really thought it was a problem they wouldn't let people off and they wouldn't do the next cruise. People are making this more of a big deal than it is.

  4. Sorry I wasn’t trying to argue or anything, I was just giving my opinion since I just came off adventure last week! I loved bringing my daughter with me and would do it again even without a nursery onboard! Cruises are for families and kids and that’s why we love them! Your raw your friends will enjoy it too! Have fun! :)

We're going on Adventure next year and convinced some friends to join us, but they have a little one who will be 2 years old next year.

Too young for AO....  but I told her  the nursery is amazing and the staff is great.   They want one night maybe 2 to go to dinner kid  free.

I just realized there is no nursery on Adventure's deck plans.

I think RCI did away with in room babysitting right?

Are there no options for toddlers on nursery-less ships?

I just came off Adventure last week and my daughter is 15 months, there is no babysitting fleet wide and there is no nursery program on the adventure for children under 3. Unfortunately, there is NOT much for kids under 3 to do on this ship. The only thing they did have (which I found out towards the end of the cruise) was family time for toddlers under 3. they had 2 sessions a day and you basically bring them to AO and they read and play songs for 45 mins. The times never worked for us. It was at 9:15am and 5:15pm. 9:15am my baby was still sleeping and 5:15pm we were getting ready for dinner. I was a little disappointed that this is one of the only ships that didn't have the nursery nor did it have anything to do for little kids. Even the Splash zone for babies in diapers on this ship was VERY small. It held about 5 kids with their parents. I am going on Anthem & Oasis in 2020 and I am looking forward to the nursery on these ships. I hope this helps.

  6. Wow! Thanks everyone for all your comments! I didn't mean to start any debates or fights LOL. It was simply a question. I am not going to take my child in the Pools where she is not allowed, I am not trying to Jeopardize anyone else's cruise, we follow the rules, even when other people don't.  We will deal with the Splash zone as I am sure she will love it.  We are looking forward to our cruise now in 16 days. 🙂

  7. Hi All,

Going on Adventure of the Seas with my family in 18 days and I read that babies are not allowed in the big pools? I have a 15 month old and she loves the pool and water. Is it true I am not allowed to bring her in the pools with me on the ship (Not including the solarium pool). Also, does anyone know if this ship offers the babysitting program? I read that some ships offer it and I am not sure if this one does. Thanks so much!

  8. Thanks so much for these little tips... I will be on Oasis on March and I HATE HATE HATE Lounge chair hogs by the pool. It is probably my biggest pet peeve. I also hate that no one enforces it like they say they do. If they say they enforce it then they should! If I see any towel on the chair I WILL move it. It's really not fair for people who don't do that..like my husband and I! End Rant....Thanks :)

  9. Now that I have those posted I want to thank everyone who commented on this post and enjoyed it. Also to all of you wishing us a safe travel home, again thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We absolutely had a blast, it took us 6 years to make it an Oasis class ship and it definitely was worth the wait. This is the wow factor ship.

Service was awesome from anyone we encountered, my wife and I were saying we don't think we've ever replied "hi" so many times in one week. Day 8 is always tough, but we do have a cruise booked for 17 on the Summit and we did book a Harmony cruise for the same week but will move that cruise once the bookings open up. Love only paying $100 deposit for a room that I can extend out a few years.

I will keep posting some pics of our trip and our voyage home, remember it's flying to dfw then driving 2 days back to San diego. So more to come, but really I just wanted to thank you all for following along on our awesome vacation. My daughters are just amazed that this has had 34k views and more to come. I'm glad others on the ship are able to help out with questions as well.

If you have a voyage coming up on Oasis I envy you!
