We didn't do the PC excursion but talked to a few folks who did and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They had VERY early departures and VERY long days but the hotels they were put up in were first class and well appreciated at each days' end.

....rather more than that now, I'm afraid.
I had both on the Sea from BA to LA last March.
Had to.
I rather enjoyed the experience, especially the shave part. It was nice to have someone else take care of me.
The facial was a joy.
Of course they try to up-sell their products but if you can get past that aspect of the process you'll have a pleasant time. I really liked the hot towels on the face at the end.
Do it. Pamper yourself.

For sure a night light in the loo. Even the more so if you are in an inside cabin; there is no ambient light coming from anywhere to a light in the loo will help you find your way as required. I have another in my room somewhere so I don't stub my toes at night.
Everything else would be personal preference but a night light is a safety thing.

Flamomo,
I had to Google to find out if burial at sea is legal.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burial_at_sea
The "simple" answer is yes - but there are so many rules, restrictions and obstacles as to make it very difficult to accomplish in practical terms.
Laws will vary from country to country.
If death took place on a Princess ship, which national Laws would prevail ?
The USA (owners) or Bermuda (vessel registration) etc. ?
I've been on a number of ships where someone passed away. The ships have, in effect, a morgue, on board where the remains will be kept until the ship can arrange for transport from its next port of call.

A number of years ago we were taken to a hotel for breakfast while the ship debarked those who were leaving and then were transferred to the ship late in the morning.
