Not the Bushwhacker, it is not bad, just not good. If you want a good one, St. Thomas has it nailed. That's the only frozen drink I have had on board.

I am glad Amtrak works for you, I would love that option. I just plugged it in, because I could not remember the details, but for my family of 4, going from Dallas to New Orleans, is $312.00, 1 way. Nice price, but it's 33 hours and 50 mins and I bet I could take a bike in the same amount of time....lol. I wish it was a viable option for us, and am always jealous of those that can take the scenic route on vacations.

It's simply one of my personal faves in Grand Cayman - it's a unique, cool and colorful place and I like it!
Guy Harvey Gallery @ Grand Cayman - Thursday afternoon, September 27th 2012
I do not blame you, every time we are there, I like to go to the Guy Harvey store. I have a few of his artworks in my office and I try to get a new one every year, whether it be Father's Day or Christmas. He does amazing work, the tenders in Grand Cayman all have his artwork on them.

I brought my kids when they were 4 and 5 because we did a family cruise with 2 sets of grandparents, 3 nephews, a family friend with his daughter and wife. All told, 18 of us. We are now looking at doing another one next year with my step-brother, SIL, their 3 kids and our 2 kids. Ages will be 5-15 and they act well.
To me, a vacation is a cruise, going to Arkansas to "mine" for diamonds, or heading to the beach for a couple of days. I prefer taking the kids to places they will learn about different people, different cultures and see things that they do not get to see everyday.
We make it a learning experience, and believe me....DS remembers EVERYTHING.

To the OP. If I was your neighbor, I would have fun helping contribute to your vacation fund. The one arm bandit is always fun.

We usually book a like 6 weeks out, sometimes a little further. I think the longest was booking in May for November, and my in-laws booked it because we were talking about it and they decided to book it for us. (That was the most interesting way to pay for a cruise) Usually, it is "throw it on the Amex and we will take care of it next month". I hate doing it that way, but 6 weeks isn't much time to plan for spending $2,000 or more.

Looks like you are getting 2 bottles, my friend.

I like Cruzan, finished off a huge bottle the other day. I also like to put a lime in my rum and cokes, especially a rum that is spiced, like Capt. Morgan.

I do not think my wife has ever worn anything but flip flops in the MDR. I will tell you this, though...NO ROBES! We were on a Halloween cruise, I was dressed as a bearded lady and my wife as....well, whatever she was. They made her change her costume to eat in the MDR. I suppose I was able to pull it off?

Man, I should have never read this! I love their yogurt.

1 bottle per passenger of drinking age. I am pretty sure it is a 12 pack per person, but not sure about that.
We usually bring on the 2 bottles of wine, a 12 pack of Coke Zero and a bunch of bottles of water.

I do not take my passport off the ship, I leave it in the safe. I carry a backpack when we do excursions, and if I wanted to keep something dry, I would just put it in some ziplock bags.
-
We always get to the ship around 10:30 - 11:00. Drop off the luggage, park the car, then head on in. As long as I get there, I don't mind waiting around. I would rather sit around for 45 mins than be rushed for 10.
Glory Spa deck

My DW and I are looking at booking a Spa Deck balcony and were wondering if you get any perks for that. We usually stay pretty low, but are wanting to try something higher this trip.
Thanks in advance!
