Do you know how many follow-up shots. Do you know if like the flu shot it's an annual event.
I don't think anyone knows if booster shots will be necessary yet, considering people have only been vaccinated since July at the earliest.

I had the first shot on Thursday morning (healthcare worker). You get a vaccination record card that states manufacturer/lot number/date given and when to return for the next dose. I had mild soreness at the injection site that lasted 24 hours, normal for any shot. Get it when you can.

It’s your big box agent that is behind. Call them and let them know.
That's what I feared. We were thinking of switching cabins anyway so I guess I can do that at the same time. Thank you!

Please don't shoot me, I swear I used the search feature.
About 10 days ago I requested a L&S on Royal's website for a cruise we had booked with a certain big box store. The new cruise now appears on my Royal account, but the old cruise is still showing on the big box account. Did something go wrong or am I supposed to call to notify them I switched? I really don't have the time to spend hours on hold so I was hoping someone has seen this before.
Thank you!

About 4 weeks for drink package refund

Thank you for the heads up! We're booked for 11/28!!

Nevermind, I answered my own questions haha. Thanks! We're booking November 28, will be our first time in a non-ocean facing balcony!
-
What are the chances of getting an oceanview balcony? Or is that just for central park/boardwalk? We've never booked a balcony guarantee on Harmony so I'm not sure how it works.

They are probably testing because of travel history out of an abundance of caution. I'd bet they didn't have "enough" reason to quarantine 4000 passengers. The report that came out last week stating someone had spread the virus without showing symptoms was revised.

Medical Lab Scientist checking in! The test requires a specialized analyzer and certified testing personnel. It appears the kits have been distributed to state health labs and limited hospitals. It's not a blood test, it's a nasal swab. The actual test takes about 2 hours depending on several factors. Just wanted to chime in because I saw a lot of people talking about test kits onboard, but it's highly unlikely they're testing onboard.
eta: To answer why the tests have been delayed on the Diamond Princess- ?? Who knows. Maybe they have the results and aren't sharing them.

My 2.5 year old is a few points away from Diamond with 15 points. Little guy has no idea how lucky he is lol.

i'm curious, if you buy a drink, (not with pkg) if you didn't like it, if the bartender would be nice enough to replace it?
If you ask nicely and don't abuse it, they absolutely will replace it. You'll still be charged for the first drink and they'll take that drink away of course, but if you're doing this with pure intentions then they don't bat an eye.

It's ridiculous and irresponsible to risk the life of a child because a car seat is an inconvenience to deal with.

We were on Adventure last year during Halloween and are on Harmony this Halloween! We aren't big into dressing up but we sure do enjoy watching everyone! It's definitely a fun, festive cruise 🙂

So the IT people really do know what they are doing!
It's been like that for DAYS. Clearly they are busy at work 😂

I have the same thing for our Harmony cruise this month. If I click the $49 package, it sends me to an error page. It appears to let me purchase the $52 package of course.

My son just turned 2 and he has been on one 8 night cruise- however, he shows as Emerald 🙂 Lucky kid.

There are plenty of beach chairs, many with umbrellas. All are free.

I thought I remembered that. We like to hang out in the suite lounge on Oasis class ships a d also spend time on our balcony and that’s why we are bringing our own board.
AFAIK, you can check those items out for the week. Just trying to give you a little more space in your suitcase if needed 🙂

FYI, most of the ships have a few backgammon and chess tables in the library.
We usually bring a few card games- San Juan and Machi Koro are two of our favorites and are easy to pack.

Does anyone know if reusable swim diapers are allowed?

This thread came at perfect timing! We just booked a cruise last night for us and our (yet to be born) son for next October! He should be about 15 months old and we're starting the research now to make sure it's a great vacation for all of us! Good luck and please report back once you've sailed!

We did this last week on Liberty. Just make your reservations when you get on the ship. You have to dine on days 1 and 2. We did Sabor and Chops. No upcharge for Chops. It's a great deal!

Fortunately, false positives are incredibly rare. I would not worry about that. (Source: I'm a medical lab scientist who performs covid testing)
