What's the op original complaint?

I'm in a haven spa suite on the breakaway next month for a 14 day cruise. Got the beverage package and like that their is a dedicated bar to take advantage of. I read somewhere you can get meals delivered to your cabin like a full breakfast ?

I paid around 30 and that's because we stopped so I could pick up a case of water.

We park in NJ and take the ferry over to NYC and walk down to the ship terminal about 1/2 mile. You can also catch a taxi if you do not wish to walk to the ship. Keeps the costs down substantially.

Which ferry and what's the cost ?

Yes. You will be escorted there upon embarkation.

Does anyone know if the haven restaurant is opened for lunch the first day of the cruise ?

Since everyone has the option of a free UBP as an option it is concerning me that the time to get a drink at the pool bar or any other bar in that matter will take forever... Anyone recently been on the BA can confirm this? One thing about UBP being a free option is I feel the bar service staff will be to overwhelmed ...

I noticed osheehans was the best service for drinks. Also noticed that drinks are really weak. Measured to the tee. Beer obviously is beer.

If all you need are dinner reservations, why not make them yourself? We will be in the Haven in January and made all of our own reservations on day 100. We bought our spa passes as well, booked entertainment etc. We use the preconcierge desk to request the steward to empty our refrigerator, special pillows, etc.

How do you contact the preconcierge desk ? I sail Jan 31 on the breakaway haven spa suite.

I stayed on the 10th deck Aft and experienced no people noise, just the sea/wake. The Waterfront bar's seating areas are down the side of the ship so there's only people walking or gazing out to sea who were really at the back. You would have more problems higher up with noise from the Spice H2O dance floor etc.

Anyone having problems viewing this?

Have you actually done that? The general consensus here is that no exceptions are allowed and if one person in the cabin can't drink, then the package probably isn't for you as the terms do not make such exceptions.

Knew someone. I almost did had a letter for my dad , however opted not to get it.

I wanted to buy a UBP for myself since my 70 year old mom and 12 year old don't drink - but the requirements is for everyone in the cabin to purchase the package. Another term to consider.

You didn't hear it from me but, get a doctors note for your mom saying that she can't drink alcohol due to medical condition and she won't have to buy it. However they will, probably make you buy the soda package for the 12 year old.

What if they were not great and you tipped the first day ? Kinda beat then

I was on the 10-4 Breakaway & this is the same Haven menu we had.

 

Truthfully, the restaurant isn't that great. Breakfast was the best meal (in my opinion). Only ate lunch there, as the food was only OK. After a few days of the same choices we found better options in other restaurants. Not sure if the menu changed once the NY/Bermuda itinerary was finished.

I asked why they didn't have any games. It's actually blacked out because NCL won't pay license fees to MLB. I complained to NCL back in April. I suggest you send them an email.

Hi we booked a Spa Mini Suite Cabin 14770 for an upcoming cruise and was wondering if anyone has experience with this cabin? Specifically, it seems there are smoking areas on the Starboard side of the ship and I was wondering if there is any smoke odor from these areas on this balcony? Also any noise from above? Thanks!

Rum runners have worked on my cruises to include carnival. Also get the ones for your pockets.

I booked thru casinos at sea and received 10 percent off my cruise. Then I tried to transfer reservation to my regular travel agent and was told that i would lose my casino benefits paying a higher fare. What gives ?

Is there something better to feed fish than Frosted Flakes?
