I will ,there’s a wine bar called vintages which did have a good display of cigars.

Have you worked out what deck your cabin is on.because there’s only 2 smoking areas.

one on deck 5 and 14.They are very strict.$100US fine or cleaning change as they call it.

I’ve seen people who love their cigarette and have a long walk down a corridor then have to wait for a lift .not a pleasant experience. I felt for them.

Thanks chilburn, I really appreciate this, the duty on bringing in cigars ( and cigarettes) into Australia is very expensive, I really enjoy a evening cigar while cruising just trying to work the most cost effective way of getting cigars , hence why I’d really appreciate youfinding out what cigars ( brands) they have on board ( in the bars and shops) if you can, and how much they are so really appreciate your help

Hope you having a fantastic time, what’s the weather, ship, food and service like?

i think we are on deck 7

We are enjoying, slept like a baby last night.the roll of the ship seems to put you into a deep sleep.

Hope cruise is going well, if you can, can you let me know or send me a picture, if they have got any big cigars and prices thanks it would be appreciated

also are there any duty free at NZ ports?

    thanks

  4. Magnetchief i am from the UK did they have the ability to pay by credit card? i know this is difficult for US citizens, if not did they convert money in the store?

We visitted La Casa del Habano is in the Hotel Conde De Villanueva.

    Great little store.

Purchased 4 boxes of 25, very genuine. No worries at all.

Paid around $800 US in total.

They do have cheaper brands, but I was after very specific sizes and brands.

They had 3 of the boxes I was after and recommended another box as a substitute for the one they did not have.

Also provided me with the appropriate customs forms to take them out of Cuba.

Here I am enjoying a smoke and some rum.

    Thanks

  5. Jumping in

Im on an 12 night New Zealand cruise in Feb 19 want to purchase refreshment package currently 31.50

do these discount when/if the alcohol packages do? im picking up there are no set patterns to this, however is there key dates more likeley e.g. july 4th, labour day, thanksgiving, black friday, cyber monday etc lol, or 90 days if they are going to discount it is more likley to hapeen

    thanks

  6. Just sign what ever section the RCI service rep tells you to sign.

Fill in most of the form, leave that section clear.

We had many people during check in having to rewrite the forms out because the CSR was not happy with the box they had checked.

    Really, really slowed things down.

I’m not surprised if it was a RCI boat, I’m travelling with Carnival, I expect the cruisers to be much more organised :')
