I will put up a review in July unless we get talked out of doing this. Looking forward to trying out my 180 degree snorkel and underwater camera.
That would be great! I would love to hear your thoughts on the 180 degree snorkel too. I just bought one myself

I received a call from NCL yesterday in regards to us cancelling this booking. He said he anticipates that all the 4 day sailings for the SKY will be going to Cuba for the rest of the year.

What about the Travel Affidavit you are required to complete? There are 12 categories of approved travel and tourist is not one of them. I read them and don't feel that I qualify for any of them. What do you do?
That link is the information that Carnival provided to us in regards to travel to Cuba.
It may help

Not sure about your sailing but for our August 24th sailing, Carnival was offering $100 per person on board credit to help with the Visa cost.
They were also price protecting same number of day cruises from certain ports.
I was booked for the 8/24 cruise that was changed as well. I was able to change to the Liberty 4 day going to Nassau and Princess Cay on 8/20 for a small up charge in port fees as they can't price protect the port fees. The agent I spoke to was super friendly and explained all our options to us.
The reason we switched is because I was born in Cuba and would have an added expense of obtaining a Cuban passport added to the cost of the cruise.
Good luck with whatever you decide

Just received our e mail. We are going to accept the change and stay booked. Looking forward to seeing a new island. Does anyone know if we will need visas or will NCL take care of that. Guess I will call and find out.
From the Cuba FAQs I received from them after calling, you will need a Visa and it's an additional $75 per person
Do I need a visa to travel to Cuba?
The Cuban government requires anyone who is traveling to Cuba
on a passport other than a valid Cuban passport to obtain a visa
prior to their arrival into Cuba. For all visitors who were not born in
Cuba, this visa, also known as a “tourist card” (or “rosada” which
must have a pink and blue background irrespective of your country
of residency), is required to enter (and depart from) Cuba for
non-business purposes. The Cuban visa is valid for a single entry
and allows the holder to stay in Cuba for 30 days. You may obtain
this visa through Norwegian for a sep-arate processing and
procurement fee of $75 or on your own. Please note that you will
not be allowed to board the vessel without proof of acquiring this
visa.
I was super excited at first. However I was born in Cuba and will require a Cuban passport to go on this cruise. This would be an additional $400 expense per person plus it can take up to 6 months. We were scheduled to sail in August so it's probably enough time but I don't want to risk it.
I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one but I'm really upset about this change.
