  1. What’s PAT? Port arrival time? Did you purchase The Key or are you in a suite? I checked in my family as soon as it opened in central time and the earliest time listed us 11:30. Use to be loyalty was rewarded (we’re Diamond Plus) but now it is only worth it if you decide to spend the extra which at our age (retired with ailments ) with D+ benefits it’s not worth the extra for Key nor is a suite worth it on short (7 day or less) cruises.
  2. So servicing cabin, unless you’re in a suite, cut back to once a day but ‘gratuities’ increased… I seriously think I’m going to guest service to stop the daily charge. Royal should just pay their staff, increase the base fare if necessary, and then let gratuities truly be given to those staff who deserve it. We’re currently on Quantum and I refuse to pay higher gratuities for less service.
  3. We were told the same thing. See my other reply post . Our cruise dropped $1300 (it’s a 17n and we’re in an extra spacious balcony- on a B2B no less for 25m of cruising) and we’re getting NOTHING from Royal because we already paid in full.
  4. One of our April cruises dropped by over $1300!!! We have already paid in full. Our travel agent tried twice and we called C& A twice (supervisors) and the only thing they’d do is give us a cabin ‘upgrade’ to a balcony (which we already have) on a different deck- which we aren’t interested in. They won’t even use the price drop as a credit against a Jr suite and let us pay the difference. We’re Diamond Plus (25 cruises on Royal, not to mention our Celebrity cruises) and NOTHING for us loyal cruisers because we paid in full last month! We know their policies but this shows that they don’t really value their loyal customers. I guess corporate gets a letter next not that anything will change but just to vent.
  5. If your cruise is soon it should be posted online in Royal app. Many are missing so I’m truly hopeful they’re changing up the boring, and not so good anymore, menu fleet wide!
