My status match has expired because I haven't sailed with MSC since March 2018. I had a March 2020 cruise canceled at last minute (first cancellation due to Covid). It is sort of not my fault.
Can I get my status restored or can I reapply for a status match. Will MSC do that a second time or are you one and done?
I am in the same "Boat" LOL! So I went and looked at the FAQ on the website the other day. Once it expires, you can reapply BUT you lose any cruise points that you accrued after you appled for status match last time. Luckily I had only taken 1 cruise since then. Imagine having taken way more than that, you will lost all those points.

Someone above gave the answer. MSC comes out tomorrow with an announcement. March 9

You must be 18 on any ship to use the thermal areas

We always take water bottles with us. The sink water should be the same water and whats in the whole ship. It is all very well cleaned, so no worries there. That water is cleaner than the water in that plastic bottle LOL

$5.00 per ride or $24.unlimited for your cabin

Just depends! Like the other person said, its all random number generators. You could win right away or lose right away.We too won a jackpot on a previous cruise that more than paid for the cruise! Just wondered if folks felt like they were able to play awhile or if they just sucked your money fast.Sent from my SM-N920T using Forums mobile app

Right On! I knew this already. I like playing video poker because based on the payout table, there is certain strategy and percentage. Cruise ships have some of the lowest tables. Doesn't mean you can't win though LOL. I sat down on my last cruise and played $.25 (video poker) machine, I was up already about $80 and hit the royal flush and won $4200. That money was used to help pay for our cruise on the Seaside this saturday :)

You have to be 18 to go into the thermal area

If you win an amount over $600 at one time (that is the U.S. for sweepstakes, wouldn't it be the same for gambling?, not sure) they will have you fill out the tax form and it does go to the IRS, so you will have to file it. I won $4200 last fall on a carnival cruise and they sent the form home with me. It will not matter what cruise line you are on.

Interested in this info as well.

Don't judge ports you haven't been to. I was just on a cruise that stopped at Belize. Sure the town wasn't great but we did an excursion to some awesome ruins, well away from the city. If you do an excursion, you will be able to see and do some cool stuff.

I have been waiting for my status match for 2 months now. Not sailing until June so I'm trying to be patient.

You need to resubmit it. I heard from most people it's supposed to be very quick. I did mine a few months back, 2 weeks went by, nothing. Resubmitted and heard back in a couple hours. Maybe there is a glitch sometimes.

If you have FTTF you don't go by that boarding time listed on there. You will be boarding after the Diamond/Suite passengers. So get there earlier than that.
-
Fttf is earlier than regular people. They still make you pick a boarding time, even though it won't apply

I believe that last cabin shown is a whirlpool suite because of the single chair, then couch, then bed. We have one of those booked for April!!

Plus, they are a privately held company. They aren't beholden to investors to make huge profits every quarter. I think this plays into the pricing as well. And from what I have read, their drinks prices are still reasonable and offer other perks that other cruises have cut.

I would take vacation. She could do communion on other week, couldn't she? Since there is no special ceremony.

Carnival Hub App Necessary?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

See I don't like having to use the app, for the simple reason that I dont' want to lug my phone around. I have always cruised to completely disconnect from technology, I feel way more refreshed during and after vacation. My husband will carry his around so he can look up stuff and then tell me LOL
