took entire family & 4 cabins. Two grandkids on their own. Granddaughter @13 , eats for 2. We had a 4dinner Perk for all adults and just paid extra for a 4dinner for granddaughter. Little guy just nibbled anyways.

I have been using the same person for a few years..He was able to book all 8 in family for all special dining venues even the main diningrooms , but NOT O'Sheehans or the other little eaterys
-
to my knowledge it looked like only 8 per grill table.. 2/4/2 and the grill guy in the center of the U table...

2 Breakaway's and ended up missing island. Took advantage of Melia"s hotel beach in Nassau

got the Roses pic on the Breakaway. Really depends on the teacher for the day..They all teach with different techniques. The " Roses " pic took home ; the second picture we left hanging in the cabin..

So to make it easy. Call NCL n get yourself a concierge..He can get into all reservations at the same time and link ALL cabins with ALL occupants to times and restaurants. He even had reservations to complimentry restaurants for me.Had 4 cabins 8 people. We all ate together at our own table. Had our own Teppanaki grill table to our selves..

AND to add insult to injury , so if you begin your drinking while still docked before leaving your port , you pay tax !!! check your bill.....

4 times a charm.....lol

truth be known . I have used a concierge at NCL on different occasions for 2 to 8 people. He is able to get into the system to book Specialty ,even the main diningrooms. No way am I waiting on line with 8 people. Its almost impossible to co-ordinate on line so everyone eats together ..at one table. We even booked our own Teppanaki table ahead of time..Just saying : ASK !

Just so laid back after many cruises. I use a concierge for many yrs who sets everything up even complimentry places n shows n restaurants

Know where the excursion desk is helps..I go to the desk before even going to my cabin and sign up for clamshells on all my trips

Never wanted to upset the applecart...sorry i piped in but did enjoy the chocolate covered strawberries anyway..

to answer your question. That was not the stated policy years ago. only restaurants and public room areas were listed , not staterooms. I believe it was 2012 on the Gem.
Policy of course was updated plus who brings wine on board now with an adult beverage plan anyways.

My wine story...2 bottles were found in my luggage and had to go to security office to retrieve. Was told of corkage fee!..I'm a rebel...showed them !!! Corkage fee is applied if bottle is brought into a public facility ...Spoke with Bar manager..I'm a rebel..Told them my " cabin " is NOT a public place...ENDED UP WITH A BOTTLE OF WINE & STRAWBERRIES FOR MY TROUBLES...

Been on many many cruises. Always do 9's by an elevator up to a buffet
-
been to both.. Did dolphins on Balmoral and Sea lions on Blue Lagoon. Balmoral is the old " SANDALS "..saw the old torn down sign..Blue Lagoon is far better with activities n beach

Once you register on line with NCL , your bookings are available to you. Been on many cruises.. 9 with NCL...Sometimes it takes awhile to see , but always check whats available under your shore excursions !!! Be aware that sometimes when you see a tour and book it for an island , due to timing , it might close you out of another tour.
ALSO , important if you have a " PORT PERK ", ( $50 PORT CREDIT ).. you must call to book ..Do Not purchase on-line. On-line booking can only deduct a LATITUDE discount..
