We're going to staying in the Pioneer Square area and we'll be going to Pier 91...hopefully that info will help. Thanks.

Hello,
Looking for the most reasonable shuttles from the Seattle Airport to downtown hotels, and then again from that hotel to the pier that day of the cruise. We like to have these things planned ahead instead of trying to figure it out when we get there. Thanks to those who can help.

Note to Shotzyok...I did a little Google search and it looks like the Targets in the Seattle area have diet Dr. Pepper, at least the Northgate Mall and University Way ones did. Hope this helps a little.

Hello, Looking for post cruise tours in Seattle, since our flights will not be until early evening. If we do a city tour or the hop on hop off bus in Seattle for the day, we'll need the best place to find the map for train to get to the airport. We're hoping to do Port Valet, so that our luggage will be taken care of, and then it will be much easier to take that train from the city to the airport. Any help or information would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello,
Looking for an excursion in Montreal, since our arrival is 9 AM in the morning and we can't board the ship until afternoon, but also, we need an excursion that we can bring our luggage since they will not take that until we board the ship.
Thank you for any ideas.

Well, we are looking at heading out of Sydney and into the Sounds first and then around to the rest of New Zealand, ending with Auckland before heading back to Sydney. Hope this helps, but it is sounding like it doesn't matter which side you are on and that the ship will turn around for both sides to see.

Hello,
We are hoping to cruise New Zealand next year departing out of Sydney and wondering if heading towards the Sounds and fiords in New Zealand if there's a better side of the ship to be on, port or starboard while cruising? Any ideas on this one would be great from some of those experienced New Zealand cruisers. Thank you.

We noticed that Princess Cruises has this sort of pre-cruise tour, and now we're looking for something similar to do for 5 or 6 days prior to our cruise on Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean doesn't have cruise tours to offer, but we would like to see a bit of Australia as long as we're traveling this far for this trip.
There must be other companies that would do such a trip.
Thank you.

Probably the RT to Sydney.

Any opinions on the best cruise line or ship for cruising to New Zealand from Sydney? Would love to hear some input on this, since this would be a new part of the world for us to cruise.
Thank you.

Guess we are really looking for a tour that would include a couple of days in the area of the Great Barrier Reef and another couple of days in the Ayers Rock area, before returning to Sydney before the cruise. Princess Cruises has these types of cruise tours, but we are trying to do the Royal Caribbean cruise and need the land portion.
Thank you.

Hello,
Since it looks like Royal Caribbean doesn't have Cruise tours in Australia, can anyone tell me who they use for a tour company for a few days in Australia just to get a feel for Australia before leaving for a New Zealand cruise on the Ovation of the Seas?
Thank you.

Hello,
Anyone ever do the Everglades Park post cruise excursion with South Florida Tours, if you have a late afternoon flight after your cruise? Just wondering if it's a good tour, and if it's worth it? Also, what time do you get to the Fort Lauderdale Airport? Thanks.
-
Does anyone know if the QLS Everglades Tour works well for a post cruise tour if you have a late afternoon flight? Is it a well done tour? And is it about 4 hours long? Thank you for your input.

Hello,
We are looking for a company that does tours post cruise tours with pick up at the pier, with luggage, to go to Everglades Park on the way to a Fort Lauderdale Airport for dropoff for late afternoon departure. Our flight is 3:35 PM. We would do it with Norwegian Cruise, but with theirs your flight time departure must be 4:30 PM or later.
Thank you.

We've never been to Costa Maya before, and will be arriving on the Norwegian Escape. What are the absolute must do shore excursions in Costa Maya? Are there some that are better found at the pier or on shore rather than on the ship? What are the names of the companies, if there are some good suppliers for shore excursions there? Thank you.

Hello,
Does anyone know anything about the BuenaVista Ranch horseback ride? It says it rides by replicas of the ruins, so is it goofy, since they are not the real thing? This is the horseback riding that Norwegian offers. Does anyone know of another, that would be considered a shore excursion and pick up and drop off at the ship?
Thanks for your help.

Snorkeling
in Roatan
We will be on Norwegian, but just wondered if there were other shore excursions that we should know about for snorkeling besides the cruise lines', since this is supposed to be one of the best area's for snorkeling. If anyone has had a good experience with another company or supplier from the island, we'd love to hear about it. We've never been to Roatan and want to make sure the snorkeling is great. Also, not interested so much in added beach time or lunch added in, etc. Thank you.

We will be on the Norwegian Escape and have a 3:30 PM flight out of Fort Lauderdale. Is there any company that will do an Everglades post cruise excursion with that time for a flight and get you to the airport? With the cruiseline, it has to be a 4:30 PM or later flight. We just wanted to make use of our day in the area. Thank you.

Did tipping go up for all categories of cabins or just suites and haven cabins? Just a little confused if we owe more money for our gratuities now with April 1st around the corner. Thanks.

Hello,
Which restaurants on the Norwegian Escape would you need to dress up for? Do men need ties and jackets for any restaurants? I am well aware that this is a Freestyle cruise, but wondered if any restaurants require you to dress up? How about the specialty restaurants and those you have to pay extra for? Thank you for your help. Just want to make sure we're prepared and ready, if we choose to dine out that way. Don't want to be told we can't enter.
-
Can you get a lobster dinner in the regular dining rooms on the Escape? Or do you have to go to a specialty restaurant to get a really special meal? Thank you.

OK, you do want to check the shuttles and the hotel separately. We will be staying at the Homewood Suites, but we have SAS Shuttles taking us to the Port of Miami at $15 a person. With our AARP rate that came out at a better rate than their Miami cruise package. Thanks for the info.

This is the address for the Homewood Suites with the package:
2061 Griffin Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
It's Dania Beach.
Seattle hotel - Belltown or Pioneer Square?

We're also doing two days prior to the cruise, and thought the Embassy Suites looked really good. We haven't been before and are aware it's a bit farther to many places, but we were really glad that they were NOT pet friendly. It seems that the majority of Seattle hotels (even the expensive ones allow pets, and they don't have specific floors or rooms for them...I called a couple). Looks like a nice pool, too. Guess we'll figure it out in a couple of days.
