I once had an issue with the app not talking to the reservation system after making a change to my reservation.  One IT "expert" tried and failed to fix the problem when talking to me on the phone.  I got the trouble ticket and call back in 5 days response.  When I called back, I got an IT person, who knew what they were doing.  He simply had my totally log out of the app and close it.  Then open it and log back in.  That worked!  Good luck.

We don't drink alcohol, so the packages don't make sense financially for us.  I did go ahead and pay for wifi for an upcoming cruise to aviod the price increase on Dec 14.

Two months ago, we stayed at the Hilton Garden at Terminal 2/3 both pre and post cruise.  We found it to be very comfortable and covenient.  We were able to walk to/from our flights.

We were on the same cruise with LT Hambone and yes, the Emerald Princess has a Kettle in the cabins.  My wife made tea in ours every morning.  I will add.... it was a great cruise!

Yep, we received the same type letter from HAL this weekend regarding our 8 Feb cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam.

Actually Princess offers several debark excursions in Sydney. We are taking one on Jan 23 after getting off the Diamond Princess. Check the excursion listings for Sydney again, maybe you missed something, or maybe the're just not listed yet for your cruise.

We'll be on the Diamond Princess in January touring New Zealand. Will we be allowed to take prepackaged snacks (like Granola bars) off the cruise ship when doing excursions?

Delta airlines just informed me that our Jan 23rd departure flight from Sydney to LAX has been rescheduled from a 1240 PM departure to a 1115 AM departure. Our ship arrives at 0700 AM. Is 4 hours 15 minutes an adequate amount of time to make that transfer?

We board the Diamond on Jan 11th for a twelve day cruise. Can't wait!

This was our four cruise and our second on NCL. We flew into Venice two days early and stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Quarto d'Altino while touring Venice. The hotel arranged transportation to the cruise terminal on embarkation day. Once at the terminal, we used the priority check-in line and were checked-in in just a few minutes. Boarding was running behind a couple of hours for some reason, so we just headed back into Venice for a few more hours of sightseeing. The NCL Spirit seemed to be in good shape and provided all we needed for this cruise. We did excursions at every stop except Mykonos, where we just walked around on our own. Overall the NCL excursions were quite good, but expensive. The staff/crew was simply outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Were we in balcony cabin 10616. It was small, but sufficient for a couple. We only ate at "complimentary" dining facilities and found the food to be good to excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment....it was really good. Disembarkation was a breeze, we left our cabin at the designated time for our luggage tags and walked right off the ship. The NCL Spirit was the perfect ship for this destination heavy itinerary. After a long tiring day, all we needed was some good food, enjoyable entertainment, and a good nights rest. The Spirit and her crew delivered all these in spades. BTW the two at sea days after leaving Venice was great. It really helped us catch up with jet lag and rest from all the walking we did in Venice.

The letters do designate their location, but BA is mid-ship upper decks, BB is more toward the stern or bow or lower decks and so on. BA is the "most desirable" and BD is the "least desirable" if you want to think of it that way.

We just sailed on the POA in May in a balcony room and will confirm there is no plexiglass on the rails. I didn't perceive it as a safety issue as the gaps are fairly small.
