The National Geographic "Orion" was to dock in Cairns on Friday 11th April.

It arrived early on April 8th and left yesterday 9th April.

Winds are pretty wild in Cairns at the moment, no rain as yet!

I live in Cairns and just had a look at some of the popular dive companies here.

Unfortunately they all seam to leave around the 8.00am mark.

I am wondering if there was a group of you from the cruise if they would do a special trip for you? Maybe you could e-mail some of the companies and see what they say?

Definitely look at the US online booking agents.

I am looking at a sample cruise for next year and it's $200.00 cheaper to book with them instead of an Australian agent.

We did a 2 day cruise on the Queen Mary 2 from Hamburg to Southampton and it was half the price to book it through a UK online agent.

I e-mailed them first just to check they could take bookings from Australia.:)

I'm a big RCL fan and also trying Celebrity for the first time. I am hoping there are enough activities to keep us all amused especially on sea days.

A few Lord of the Rings fans in our party so we will be off to see Hobiton as well!
