Since you're LIVE, I trust your answer and we will be enjoying them in less than 2 weeks when we're on Harmony!

On Lido Deck there is a location foreword of the pool just before stairs/elevators, with three unmarked bays. Maybe Trident will be there. However I just checked same spot on Majestic and those spots are Noodle Bar; Fountain Pool Bar; Lobster Grill. On Regal the 'Lobster Grill' is Trident Grill, so maybe just changes/additions to menu choice.

We just booked on the Sky for March 2020. Today we were looking at the Deck plans and noticed the Trident Grill and Pizza place weren't there! This is a BIG negative if they only have Swirls around the pool deck!! We love to play cards under the shade (my husband had skin cancer, so we need shade) and ordering french fries and pizza! We are thinking of canceling if they don't have any food around the pool except ice cream!! I sure hope it's just not labeled yet!

We left the Royal on February 28, 2018 and Murder on the Orient Express was one of the movies shown both on MUTS and on your stateroom TV.

We're on March 20, hope it's still playing!

Our streak of calm seas continues...today we were in St Lucia and is was overcast most of the day, but seas are still unbelievably calm. We should be pulling out shortly for our short ride to Barbados tonight.

Since this flu season has been so bad, wondered if we should wear a mask. Have you seen anyone wearing masks to prevent getting sick?

You could also visit the casino. Register your card on one of the slot machines. Put $50, $100, whatever. Play for as long as you can stand it. Balance going up?? Keep playing. Balance drops? Cash out. Quick!!

We do this over several days of the cruise. Sometimes we come out ahead, sometimes we lose. Who cares? It's "funny" money.:D

And one time, after our cruise, we got the "casino discount". Great savings on some cruises. We booked 5 cruises using the discount. :D

I thought the one thing you COULD NOT use OBC for was in the casino. I guess I've been told wrong all this time! I'm going on a cruise in March and have a lot of OBC to use up, this is great if I can use it in the casino!! Do you just charge it to your ship account and the OBC will go towards the casino charges?

They were already open when we arrived shortly after 10 am on 12/3/17 for our Regal sailing.

GREAT! Someone else said they were open at 10:00 Nov. 2017 and I didn't know if that was just a one time thing. It happening to you last Dec. also, sounds hopeful!! Anyone else get there before 11:00 and have the doors open?? Thanks :D

Port Everglades-Fort Lauderdale Terminal 2 for the Royal Princess. I know Princess has redone the waiting area and I was wondering if anyone has sailed recent that can confirm what time the terminal 2 doors actually open? We always get there early, but in 2016 the doors didn't open till 11:00 and they told us they never open earlier than that anymore. Any info would be appreciated!!

The menu was not on the TV in the room. However there are boards usually near the elevators where you can view the menu.

 

And you can view the menu for the whole week on the one outside the dining room.

One more Important question!! I remember that you can't walk all the way from one end of the ship to the other and we kept having to turn around! What Deck is it that you can actually walk from the front to the back? I think we had the most trouble after eating in the MDR and then trying to get to a show at the other end of the ship :confused:

Unfortunately, yes.

What about viewing the MDR menu for the WEEK on the TV or interactive screens?

Don’t miss the shows, they are all very good.

 

The aqua team also does a comedy show around Noon towards the end of the week, called Splish Splash it is very good.

 

Make sure you see the parade...there will be one early in the week and one on the last day. Also the Dancing In The Street Party is so much fun!!

 

 

We will be back on the Oasis in October for the 4th time this year.....so you we love it!!!

Since you've been on Oasis so often, I wondered if I could verify some older info from when we sailed in 2013. (1) Can you still get Turkey bacon at the Solarium for breakfast? (2) Can you still view the MDR menus for the Week on your TV or any screen around the ship?

You can go to Dazzles during the day. Go upstairs, tables and chairs or big booths. No ever up there during the day and it has a great view, cool, and quiet. happy cruising.

Do you have a view of the ocean from Dazzles? I thought it was located in the center of the ship.

On Oasis: Suite Lounge, Chef's Table, and Coastal Kitchen.

 

So actually, I was not completely accurate when I said that VC was not open to all guests. If a guest opts for Chef's Table, they will have access to Viking Crown for the duration of that event.

Booked a cruise for us and our grown son & wife for this Oct. We took our parents 3 years ago. The more I read on CC the more sorry I am that it's past final payment! They charge for room service now, took away the secret balconies and now the Viking Crown isn't open to the public!! Sounds like I know why we LOVE Princess cruises, this will be our last RC cruise!!

I haven't been on Oasis since 2014, do you still have to check out pool towels?

Not sure where you are staying but most hotel shuttles won't start running until 10:15-10:30.....

Does anyone know what time the doors open at the port? I've never sailed from Port Canaveral and don't want to get there before the doors open to get inside (in Fort Lauderdale they don't open the doors early and you have to wait outside in the heat if you're early!) We are taking a shuttle from our hotel that's only 1 mile from the port, so I wanted to know how early a shuttle to take (I like to get there as early as possible, even if we're just waiting to board...that starts the vacation :D)

I was just able to book the Solarium Bistro for dinner for 2 nights at no charge for our February, 2018 Oasis cruise. It is one of the choices in the drop down menu under dining.

Maybe I'm dumb, but still don't see where I can book the Solarium for dinner! We sail Oct. 2017, so it shouldn't be too soon if you can book for Feb 2018. I'm looking on my "Cruise Planner" under Dining. I only see the for Pay Options or My Time Dining which doesn't show the Solarium. Could you please help me find where to book it? :( Thanks!!

Any smoking at all allowed? I'm so hoping no smoking now, we'd love to go inside this time!!
