  1. Hi! I love this topic!

I'm just reading my third Shopaholic book ... Shopaholic Ties the Knot. I'm really, really enjoying them. If you have any other suggestions for good books like these (including chick lit), I'd appreciate it. Or any great books really!

    Thank you,

    Lynn

I also just finished Shopaholic Ties the Knot. And I just picked up the fourth one, Shopaholic and Sister, from the library but haven't started it yet. I think they are all great.

  2. I'm not Kallan, but can I put in my vote for Joe? Ranger is a good fantasy, but not marriage material I don't think.....

Yes I agree with you. I like Joe for Stephanie the best.

As for leaving the books at home, some people take great joy in getting drunk and partying, for me heaven is sitting on my balcony, reading a great book, with the sound of the waves as a backdrop.......To each their own......

Again I agree with you. Reading while on a cruise is something I look very forward to.

  3. I checked out this thread some time ago and was intrigued enough by all the rave reviews of the Evanovich books to take "One For the Money" out of the library. I laughed the whole way through it and within several weeks, had finished all 9 paperbacks and purchased #10 in hardcover. I asked for and received "Metro Girl" for Christmas and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you all for clueing me into such a wonderful author.

So, who do you want Stephanie to be with, Joe or Ranger?

  4. I agree Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series are the best!! They will definately make you laugh out loud. Here is a complete list of the titles:

    One For the Money

    Two For the Dough

    Three to Get Deadly

    Four to Score

    High Five

    Hot Six

    Seven Up

    Hard Eight

    To the Nines

    Ten Big Ones

    Visions of Sugar Plums

You don't have to read them in order, however if you are able to, I would. There is kind of a storyline that continues throughout.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Oh and by the way Nicholas Sparks is awesome as well. And I just read James Patterson's Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and Sam's Letters to Jennifer. Both were easy reads. Perfect for vacation.
