Praying for them~~

Hello Smiley.
Can you tell me what you said to PVP to get price drop? Are you just asking that Carnival "match" some special sale price or did the cost on your particular trip drop?
-
I started a thread entitled "best & worst rooms on Ms. Liberty" and you can find some info there. There is another thread called "OK to book these rooms" which has some good information. Remember Liberty has a few sister ships so you can find similar locations to avoid by reading their posts.
I agree with those who say to book a deck that has cabins above and below. Looking at deck plans definitely helps. I would avoid being too close to elevators and laundry areas.

Congrats and welcome to Cruise Critic. We are sailing on The Breeze(sister ship) next July. Do you know what cabin you will have? I'm in 8351 and my other family members will be on Deck 7. Not sure what their #'s are yet.

I'm looking at our photo receipt from our July sailing on the Breeze. Pictures are not cheap. We spent a shocking $170.00 for 9 pictures.
8x10's $21.99
5x7's $11.99 to $14.99
Hello Outdoors. Do you know if they were offering a CD of all pics for around $150? I had read that somewhere in the past.

Hello,
My family and I had 3 rooms booked on Ms. Liberty for July 2015. While this would only be my 2nd cruise, I had quickly learned from reading Cruise Critic LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION does not only apply to land property. WOW! It is just as important on Ships!
Since Carnival "switched" our ship---we decided to try The Breeze. I have not had time to research her properly to locate the best rooms ---as well as noisy areas to avoid(rooms near galley, above/below band areas, beside gym, etc...) While I am asking for your help for us, I hope this info will assist many others, too. We will have 2 Interiors, 1 Balcony, and a 1A. I want to try 8351 which is a 1A beside elevators. Will I hear the "dinging" all night long? Which balcony(mid ship) & interior would be best/worst?
THANK YOU!!!!
-
Thank you one million times over Serene56 and K2!!!!! This is only my 2nd cruise. One last question, 8351 is beside elevators. Will I hear the dings all night? Again my apologies for jumping into another thread.

If you Google carnival valor 9200 you will get lots of pictures
The cabin is amazing but it is a long walk
Hello Serene. Don't want to hijack a thread but I did not know how to write you. My family and I have booked the Carnival Breeze and have rooms 6411, 6409, & 6389. Can you give us any advise on noise issues here please??????
-
Hey Skip. Did you cruise on Breeze in a 1A cabin? If so, which one. I am booked in one on Deck 6 but it is beside elevators.

The bunks are comfy. I ended up in the top bunk on Valor last year. I thought I would have problems being up so high, but it wasn't bad.
Thanks! I sure hope we can make another run for it.
Hello scgamecock. Can you tell me the cabin # you were in. I am sailing solo and looking for a quiet 1A cabin.

This is a 32 page about aft cabins. You might find something here. There are some amazing pics.

Thanks for posting this. I had been checking everyday since June. Haven't checked for a few days till I saw your post, I saved $70.00 on my Pride cruise in April 2015. Thanks again. :D
Thrilled to do it!! Others on CC have done the same for me, too.

Just wanted to give a shout out that Carnival is offering some free upgrades and price drops. We just saved $30 on an interior for July 18, 2015. :)

Hello, I have been taking notes on cabins aboard Liberty because we are scheduled to cruise July 2015. I did not find anything in my notes. I did see where someone else had asked about this room and I attached comments below. Maybe you could contact them to see if they actually stayed there.

Default Carnival Liberty Cabin 7225 review needed!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Could someone who has stayed in cabin 7225, balcony, on Carnival Liberty please reply as to how you liked the deck location of this cabin. It will be our first balcony, and there are no mid-ship balconies available.
This is a July cruise. I had read that AFT balconies don't have much breeze and would be hot in July. Is there a lot of noise at this section of Deck 7---do you get all the smoke from designated smoke areas above you?
If you haven't stayed in 7225, but maybe in a cabin next door, please reply.
I'm getting desperate.

I prefer the cabin on the aft - *(back of the ship) over the forward one.
The empress deck is very lighly sought after as it is a deck that is between cabin space and away from public areas.
your cabin 7225 is too far forward for me Its a lot of walking to the food. sometimes 2-times a day.
7431 is a connecting cabin- you could get an older couple in there that are hard of hearing. They usually listen to the tv quite loud-- or shout at each other to have their conversations-- because of tht door youwill be hearing that. or you can be next to a cabin with unruly teens.
What you see online might not be all thats available. your best bet is to call and see what else is left.
My cabin of choice is the area around 7411 no across the hall neighbor. CLOSE to the stairs/elevators up two decks for food down two decks for entertainment. (I have lost count how many times we stayed in 7411

Mike & Tracy’s continuing adventures: B2B on Carnival Liberty & Carnival Breeze
Just wanted to give a "shout out" about Mike's review. He and his family did a power snorkeling adventure that looked awesome. My family and I want to try it.

We booked July 18, 2015 to be on Ms. Liberty!!!!! WoooHooo!!!! We're excited already!!!

Anyone stay in 1045 on Panaroma deck (inside cabin)?
I saw where 1050(Liberty) was reported as very quiet. Another said 1056(Liberty) was relatively quiet. 1011(Liberty) is near gym and they could hear a lot of noise. Sorry I could not find anything. Maybe someone else will chime in.

OK. My family and friends are sailing on Ms. Liberty in 2015. We have booked 3 rooms so far: 6338, 6336, & 6224. One is a balcony room.
Let's us here from you. What would you say was your best room or worst room on Ms. Liberty and why? Thank you for your response!

Todzie,
Which insurer did you use---if it's not wrong to ask?

She was my first cruise--------OH HOW I LOVE HER!!! Some of the most AMAZING TIMES with my family were made on that ship!!!
OK...no long story...but one of our "forever moments" was us sitting by the pool on a sea day. A few kids were jumping in the pool splashing everyone in an irritating way. My huge brother-in-law who had many "drinks" already decided he was going to CANNON BALL in by those kids. Well one of the security personnel had started watching to try and catch the kids jumping. He saw B-I-L get up and it's just like they read each others mind. He knew what my B-I-L was going to do. Immediately he started waging his finger(like a windshield wiper) at him as to say "Don't you dare!" with a mean stare. It was like 2 brahma bulls waiting to see who was going to blink. After MUCH COAXING my sister finally got him to sit back down. After that, we gave each other the "wagging finger" the rest of the cruise!!!!
Honestly, we still laugh about that! I guess you had to be there to see that "stare down" and the "wagging finger".
