So we can't access the new room's safe until 10am? Thank you for your help!

We will be on Celebrity Solstice for three back to back to back cruises starting October 1, 2023 to November 16th, 2023. My question is about changing cabins. The first two cruises we are in the same cabin but the last one we change to a different cabin on a different deck. How does this work? Cabin steward brings a luggage cart and hanging cart? Or would we need to pack all our hanging stuff (wrinkles ugh!) too. What time does this happen, how quickly can we get into the new cabin to drop our stuff and put other stuff in the new safe etc. etc. Thanks for your help!

Looking forward to reading all about your trip! See you on board in a few days.

Thank you phoenix_dream. I am going on 3 Celebrity cruises starting Oct 1st on the Solstice. I having trouble following asleep so I watch a movie to help get me tired. We have never been on Celebrity so I wasn't sure if they had movies in the cabin. Thanks again!

Thank you!

Makes sense. We make steaks pretty regularly, Costco sells prime ribeyes for about $20/lb and American wagyu for about $28/lb. We put on a thick coat of one our favorite spice rubs, vacuum seal it for three days, sous vide it, then put it in a pan to butter baste it. We call it a “99%er” or a steak that’s better than 99% of the steaks we’ve hadGreat tip!! Thanks

Please be clear in your post. Is that CD dollars?
Yes, I am from Canada so that is in Canadian dollars.

Thank you everyone for the information!!
We did get I think $120 per leg discount. So that is nice.

Just wondering what time we can get into the next cabin and how the process works and approximately how long it takes to change rooms. I know we would need to pack all our drawer items but would we also need to pack hanging items? Who moves us.
On another line our cabin attendant took our hanging items and we brought our luggage with our stuff to the next room - we were moved before 9am. It was very quick.
Thanks for the help!

We just booked our first cruise with Celebrity. So basically if you want to dress up (I am not talking gown/tuxedo) you can, if not you can wear jeans to the main dining room?

Thanks for taking the time to do your review! It is too bad that there were a few glitches that happened to you. I am sure you will find a cruise line that will be better suited to you.

Thanks for taking the time to post your adventure!! Have fun with your mom and sister - great memories you will have.

Hi Ben Murphy - I would imagine it would be easier when leaving your cabin always turn right or turn left - don't go one way on day and another way another day - go the same way each and every day. There are phones on the walls in the elevator area that can help to remember which side your cabin is on. That is all I can think of. Have a great cruise!

We were on the Riviera b2b Dec 3/2021 - 20 days and attempted to play pickleball and paddleball. Oceania has a 1/4 inch heavy thick plastic porous decking - I am assuming for drainage and so no one could slip and fall. The pickleball ball could not really bounce that well. The wind on the first 10 days was horrendous so we all attempted paddleball with a wood paddle and tennis ball. The second 10 days less wind so we played pickleball. It was difficult but we still all had fun.

Just my opinion you definitely need to spend at minimum two weeks in Europe. On our first trip to Europe we went to Paris for 7 days and then flew to Venice took our first cruise, we then stayed in Rome for three nights. It was wonderful! You are going to love it!! It makes me smile thinking how much fun you are going to have!
Just my opinion, we stayed in an inside room once and it was fine! We only stay in our room in the morning, sleeping and in the afternoon for a couple of hours. The rest you are either off the ship or out and about on the ship. An inside room will be fine.

We were on the Marina and went from San Antonio, Chile to Papeete and then did the 10 days around Taihiti - there was a fabulous band on the ship from Brazil. There were about 4 or 5 couples that did ballroom dancing every day up on the Horizons Lounge. The band was so good that even my husband and I danced - not ballroom though!

I just wanted to remind some people that might have forgotten, to apply their Future Cruise Credits to their booked cruises before they expire. I remembered just two days before ours was to expire. Maybe Oceania is being generous if people have forgotten - I hope so. We did have three cruises booked but had not yet decided which cruise we would use the FCC for.

We cancelled two cruises for 2020 and one 2021, but booked one for 2022 that is similar to the 2021.

It probably depends if you are in your room a lot. If you are only there to sleep and you are out and about most of the day, it would not be a problem. But if you like to be in your room a lot, have naps in your room etc. you might hear the chairs being moved a bit. And if you are the type of people that don't like any noise do not have your cabin below the pool deck. JMO

Not for everyone! I've become very fond of sea days.
But when you aren't planning on them, and when there is a particularly difficult health problem ... I won't disagree!

We also like sea days but only if we are busy sightseeing on our other days while we are on a cruise.
First time on Celebrity and would like some information.
