I've seen a few posts where people have stated that they have booked their reservation online for MTD. Question I have is where? I only see booking for specialty restaurants. I can't seem to find where you can book MTD reservations.

Ahh, that's how it works. Perfect. Thank you both

So I got Voom for using my cell phone for Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, etc. My phone will be on for this but do I need to contact my carrier and do anything about my service? Being in Mexico, I don't want to be charged international roaming charges so how do I avoid that? I used to just keep my phone off once we sailed and just used the internet in the library but now that we are allowed to use our phones, I'm a little confused as to how this will work.

Thank you for all your replies. We are going to do CI after all since it is a bucket list item and not sure when we will ever go back to Mexico. I liked Coba but my friend has a bad knee and would never climb it so that was out of the question for her.

It's from Cozumel. No plans to hit the beach. Just want to see Mayan Ruins and take photos (I'm a photographer and would love doing shoots of Ruins).

Thanks. Never realized that board existed LOL

We leave in 2 weeks and I already have an excursion booked. I always wanted to go to Chichen Itza (bucket list) but it wasn't listed when I booked so I thought it wasn't offered so we booked Tulum Mayan Ruins. Well, yesterday, Chichen Itza is offered!! What?? It wasn't there 2 months ago. Soooo, for those that have been to either one or both...which do you recommend? I still have time to cancel Tulum and book CI and my friend is easy and will always say "whatever you want is fine" so what ya think? CI is $30 more but not an issue. Is it worth it? One better than the other? Any advice would be appreciated

Just off the Brillance of the Seas before Christmas, 5-day Tampa-->Key West-->Cozumel and thought I would share the Cruise Compass for this sailing.
Thank you. Going to read it now. I sail on BotS in 3 weeks.

My jaw is dropping. $22 for a 12-pack of coke. I just bought two 12-packs at Publix and got 2 free. $10 for 48 cans of coke is more my price LOL

Please tell me that they still allow individuals to order multiple apps and entrees. Hopefully the Prime Rib was partially eaten when the picture was taken. Can't imagine a chef would let it out of the kitchen like that.
I thought the same thing. Prime Rib is my favorite but that piece looked like my dog had already started chewing on it.

Ahhh that's why we can't print them. Jeesh I've told her for a month to do it. Procrastinators

Does everyone on the reservation have to complete the online checkin for the luggage tags to show up? I've completed mine but my friend hasn't. We sail in 25 days and nothing shows for luggage tags yet.

Yeppers. Have ornaments of each ship and always get them from each port. I write the cruise ship name on the ornament to the port so I know which ship I was on when we visited. Crazy, but just memories

I booked a 50 min Swedish massage for my Jan trip on Brilliance. My total with tax and tip was $108

my friends use this. Just used it snorkeling in Nassau last week and their pics were amazing

Just like the majority of what everyone has said, I do the Adobe Elements package for $10/mo that has Lightroom and Photoshop. Photoshop is still a bit confusing but I'm learning.
I actually did a photo session last week and did the about 95% of my editing in Lightroom. I really only used Photoshop to remove some things in the background of photos. The client was more than happy. I think Lightroom is great.

We are going to be on the Brilliance Jan 9th and fingers crossed NO FOG! 1st time sailing Royal and out of Tampa. Us Nor'Easters will need relief from the cold winter already in play:rolleyes:
We leave on it right after you, Jan 14, and worried now about the fog, especially with a port being the day after we leave

or maybe it's none of your beeswax at all.
I love this answer best!!

Better question is: With only $400 limit on credit card, how do her finances justify a cruise?
How about she doesn't like to use credit and has enough to pay cash! People can have a lot of money and not use credit cards!!
-
Thank you for all your responses. I will definitely print these out for her. I know that she wants to hand tips to people for more of a 'personal' touch, her beverage package is booked so as for onboard expenses I doubt she will have much.
-
She needs a credit card with a much higher limit. Depending on line, the ship may pre authorize as much as $100 per day for her on board expenses. Paying the gratuities as part of the up front costs helps, as does buying a drink package before boarding. She should NEVER use a debit card in a foreign port, or on board. Large amounts of cash in port is a bad idea.
Now I'm really confused. Everyone's saying that you do NOT need to have a credit card for onboard expenses. If you do cash, what I've been told is that you put a certain amount and if you hit that limit, you go to the desk and put more on your card. Not doing prepaid gratuities but giving cash to each at the end of cruise.

That's so weird. I don't have a place to reserve it. It just says it under my preferences but nothing to book it.
