I also work full time so I am limited to one cruise a year. I use to only get to go every other year so it has been a real treat to have done one each of the last 3 years with next years already booked! I spend a lot of time making scrapbooks of the trip to help make it last "longer". I also visit our Disney store about every other week. I am always on the look out for a great deal!:D

This is a great thread! I appreciate all the information provided by Roz! I am also glad that you mentioned it is okay to call someone out that is breaking the law. I have always taught my children to never approach a service dog because they are working. One day at the market, a lady had her dog in the cart and my kids hardly even looked at it. I asked my daughter to get something further down the aisle and it put her right next to the dog and the dog growled and snipped at her. I had the manager all over her in a flash! I knew if it were a real service dog she would not have been so aggressive.

We encountered an all day pour down once. It wasn't bad. The CD quickly put together a movie in the theater and passengers put together card games wherever they could. There was plenty to do inside!

I did see the picture! Thank you for sharing!:D

Has anyone ever used window clings? We didn't get a balcony for next years cruise so I thought it might be fun to decorate the porthole for my girls. Any idea if they are allowed?

I am curious about the "sandbox". Do service animals, dogs in particular, get trained to use such a box? My dog is not a service dog and I can't imagine she would use one of those without training.

I am relieved at the thought of a CM on duty at the pools. I never leave my kids unattended at the pool. This last summer I hated it when my kids wanted to go swimming because the pool was such a mad house. I felt like a meanie because I tried everything I could think of to keep them from wanting to swim because I didn't trust the other kids. They jump in the pool and land on 2-3 other kids and my youngest could barely touch the bottom. It would take much for an older kid to knock her down and pin her under water!

It was silly! They arrived about 3 minutes before show time and thought they should get prime seats. We were in the 3rd row and had been there for about 20 minutes. This incident was one of two that I witnessed on the Fantasy. Still by far less than I see on Carnival!

The one about saving seats in the theatre should add do not get up and go to the bathroom before the show! I witnessed a bad situation when the people behind us had people in the bathroom and people tried to take their seats. It got very heated and I actually kind of feared for my safety!

Is there a fee for Pelican Plunge(I think that is the name!)? We just watched a you tube video of it and the girls think it looks like fun!
