I read different information about the Hard Rock Cafe. Some people write that it moved to a new location. The homepage seems to show a different address. Can someone please tell me where it is? Is it in walking distance from the port? I understand that there are different piers. We are with the MSC Seaside. First time at Cozumel.:) Thanks!

I am not vegetarian but during all the research I did for our upcoming MSC cruise I found a blog from the UK called "vegancruiser" (She calls herself Sanna Vegancruiser) with reviews of MSC cruises. This might be interesting for you. :)

This is good to know. We are booked on the same itinerary for June 2019.
On Meravigilia and Musica, since there is no tap water, US passengers were given free bottled water in the MDR and buffet. Apparently only us Americans drink tap water?
I do not know why MSC did way with it. Bummer.
True, I always like it in the US that we get water in restaurants with our meal. At least here in Germany (and in other European countries as well) it is not common to get free (tap) water automatically. You can of course ask for a glass of tap water but I hardly ever see anyone doing it. :)

We are going with the MSC Seaside to all three of the mentioned ports. April 20th sailing. They might have more sailing dates with theses ports included.

The bus terminal was very easy to find. Taxi from Southampton coach terminal to the city cruise terminal was 6 GBP.
-
We have used National Express before, no problem to store luggage. From Heathrow to Southampton we use it next Friday. I can tell you where to find it after we get back from our short (2 nights) cruise on Sunday :) We take a taxi from the coach station to the ship. Shouldn't be more than 5 GBP I believe.

We always take public transportation. Only 2 stations from Hamburg Central station to Veddel and from there we take the shuttle bus to the cruise terminal: https://www.hansetix.de/en/cruisegate

I am on the same cruise and there are literally no hotels near this port. We board on a Sunday and there is not even public transportation to anywhere near this port. Luckily I had just booked near the airport due to flights, but I feel for those that were booked near the other port.
That's not true. The public transportation is the same as on a weekday, except for the ferry (which is not very close to the ship anyway).
The best way is to go with the S3 train to station "Veddel" (2 stations from Central station, about 15-20 minutes from "Altona" or the stations around) Prebook the shuttle bus from Veddel (2,50 €) and it takes you directly to the terminal.

The August 5th cruise reappeared this morning! But it's shown as sold out in every category except Inside cabins.

True, but that was not the case this morning. I don't think it is sold out. Maybe they work on the prices :D

The August 5 Jade 7-day cruise from Hamburg still hasn't reappeared on the NCL website. :-/
It is on the German NCL website and also on our TA's website
-
My family and I also were booked on this 7/22 cruise. What a hassle, we were tied into those dates working around my now adult exchange students' work schedules. We did rebook for the Epic western Mediterranean. Our original flights were in and out of Hamburg. Now we have added round trip to Barcelona and back and then off to visit in Berlin and Stuttgart. Many more travel days.
:( What a mess! Did NCL give you any compensation for the flights? But I am sure that you will have a wonderful trip!
-
We now got a really good offer from NCL and booked the 9-nights cruise to the Fjords. We were booked on the 8-nights which was cancelled. Now we have one extra port and we don't pay more.
-
Maybe they are going to wait until everyone who was booked on one of the three originally cruises did react. NCL gives us time until Jan 22nd.
-
Thanks, I checked last night before going to bed ( I am in Germany too), and it wasn't there. I will take a look now. :)
I just checked on NCL.com and the cruises are not there... Strange.
-
Can I ask where you saw these changes? I looked at NCL.com and another online TA and both show nothing for The Jade to Norway.
Our TA sent us the official email they received from NCL but now the new cruises are bookable on their page. It's a German website but I justed looked on their English partnersite and there it is also. I am not allowed to post the name here

changes are always bad, but did the 12 night last year, was a great cruise.
NCL offered us to change to one of the two now new cruises but we expect a little bit more than 10 % discount and 25 $ OBC.
They also offered that we could change to the 7-nights Fjords cruise in August and keep our price. Yes, nice.. Our original cruise was 8 nights.
-
And why?
It was three cruises (6, 7 anderen 8 nights) and now they changed it to two with 9 and 12 nights.
-
They cancelled the cruise. I was just notified by my travel agenda. Not happy about it. Only an August option of 7-days.
Which one?
-
I really hope that our cruise on July 22nd won't be cancelled! At least we didn't book a flight for this one since we live in Hamburg. I don't have any experiences with the cruiselines cancelling a cruise. Do they offer something instead?
-
I hope they have not been chartered :/ I was hoping to go on the 6 day one.
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
I sure hope not since we are booked on the 22nd July cruise :)
But if I log in to myNCL everything is still there.
-
Looking at our online travel agency's website I see that three of the Fjords cruises are stated as sold out, including the one we have booked. But I don't think that's true, it happens once in a while and one or two days later they are bookable again.

Thank you! I see a "Sky Bridge" in the Video. Is it also included and open for the public?
There is no way that I would go on that bridge, but my husband would love it :)
-
Very intersting, thank you!
We will be in Olden for the 1st time next year in July.

Thank you for this review, we take the same tour in March. Now I am really looking forward to visiting the ruins. We have never seen Mayan ruins before but we don't want a tour that includes sitting on a bus for several hours.
