Really? September of 2009 I'm sure you just love starting something.
No. You're absolutely wrong.
Here's a concise synopsis of the thread. You must've missed it. Google AND reading comprehension is your friend. ;)

Grandeur of the Seas sailed for at least six months with a HUGE dent in the side. Actually, it was a gash big enough to be able to see into the ship. They covered the gash with duct tape, painted it white and sailed until they were able to make repairs during a dry dock. They would lower a lifeboat at each port to cover the dent from view. True story. Except the part about the duct tape.

Try to keep up. It really wasn't confusing.

Right, I was looking for a video that's current. The video posted here is old...
Is there current video of a 2009 incident?
-
LOL. Y'all are too much. I hope common core brings reading comprehension back to the curriculum.
-
is that per person? That would be $100+ if you have to have it for all family members. Could get pricey. I wouldnt do it if it was per person
The social media internet access is per person. Or per device. I vaguely remember someone in our group saying that he and his wife both used it, but only one could be on at a time.
-
It's $5 per day, and by all accounts works really well. I've heard only positive reports about it.
Edited to say, I'm talking about the social media internet access.

NOLA!! Galveston can't even compare. Dream and Magic are pretty much the same, all things considered.
-
Does Carnival even own the casinos? Land based casinos are in a profit share with the companies that make and maintain the slot machines. I don't know how the percentages shake out, but they don't even own the machines.
-
Galveston. Better ships. Much better port. A no brainer.

Remember, your worst day on a cruise is better than your best day at work!:)
I can't even remember the last time I had a bad day at work. I just walk around and take pics of empty houses. Not much to dislike, and an occasional run in with a surly neighbor just makes the day that much better. ;):)

Magic to FL, Breeze to NYC and Vista to Galveston.

This is not new. It's been out there a while. The keys words are " will not occur sooner than 2016".
The date has been delayed several times and probably will be delayed several more.
You do realize that 2016 is just next year, right? And that sounds JUST LIKE a Carnival announcement.

Post on his FB page wall a few days before sailing. Let him know the date, ship and cabin number. It's hit or miss, with Dream being the worst, but you will likely get some goodies. Chocolate covered berries, a SOAS and a bottle of bubbly is the usual, along with a nice note from the CD.

Maybe you can find your steamer there, and buy it back. :)

All that speculation of how stuff went missing is logical thinking, except for the previous reports of theft on the Dream back in the fall. Stuff that makes you go hmmm...............
-
This is at least the third or fourth report of thefts on the Dream. The others were back in the fall and coming from several cruises in a row. Maybe the bandit slacked off a bit and is now back at it.

So if both types sucked would that be a happy medium? :D
A happy medium would be one who collects your money, even though they don't really see dead people.
-
One thing I don't do is troll the Internet with fake happy happy, joy, joy messages like some here.
Most of them aren't obnoxious and abrasive in doing so. ;)

There's a reason why Elation and Paradise keep getting passed over for upgrades. Most of the other Fantasy class got the EOF back in the day. Elation and Paradise have gotten nothing. They are the newest of the Fantasy class and the only two with Azipods. The maintenance costs of these two ships may be higher than the others, and they may be under consideration to leave the fleet first.
-
It just seems logical to me that they would put their new ship where they are commanding the highest prices. Galveston has my vote.
-
All logical indications show that Royal got their idea for a split superstructure from Carnival.
But your missing the whole point. Again. Royal built it, Carnival did not. :p
-
You have you facts confused Richard. HAL got the Pinnacle class in name only. The design is completely different. For you in for this design was released years before Oasis and as KYBluecruiser mentioned Joe Farcus had designed something similar in the mid 90's.
HAL got the Pinnacle class. CCL will have to come up with another name now.
Did I stutter?
Richard

Carnival would never build that ship. There's too wasted air space. My god, they could shoehorn 3000 more passengers on that ship, otherwise. RCI would put 4500 passengers on that ship. If Carnival couldn't put at least 12,000 on the same ship, they wouldn't even consider it. :p

Give them away if you don't like them. Less to schlep home.
