Thanks!

I have very wide feet (4E). Would the supplied boots be suitable for such a fit, or do they run narrow?

According to the app it is available from 6-9 pm.

For me that links to booking portal.
When I click on "View Seabourn Voyages" it takes me to the Voyage Tracker page with the "hamburger" at top left. Clicking on the burger giver you the ship selector.
It might help if you cleared your browser's cookies/cache and try it again. -

Yes you can switch devices. if you did not remember to log off the first device, it will prompt you to disconnect the first device before allowing the new device to connect.
Thanks. We're boarding tomorrow and I needed to make sure I could switch because I have to have the streaming plan for a work call.

Are you able to switch devices?

Agree about the Thermostats. I have found that many hotels now control limits on your thermostat and I end of being hot or cold. I did not have any issues on the Pursuit - was able to keep it cold at night the way I like to sleep and it heated up quickly in the morning when I turned up the heat. No issues whatsoever for me.
When that happens, I Google how to override the limits. 😁

It's 9:18AM. If in port, I would be on a tour. If at sea, at would be in the Observation Lounge with a good book and an Irish Coffee from Seabourn Square. (Yes, at 9:15AM.)
Drinking? At 9:15 AM???
I would never do that.
I wait until 10 for a Bloody Mary. 🤣

It's 6:19 pm right now. We'd be in the Observation Lounge, supping wine, snacking on tapas, and listening to music.

The dancing/singing/parading wait staff in the MDR. Service gets stopped, and my food gets cold.

Yes you can. The transfer has to be done within 60 days of booking, and the reservation yet cannot be paid in full.
Direct your agent to this page. https://www.onesourcecruises.com/pdf/onesource/sb/booking-tools/self-service-request/SBN-Reservation-Transfer-Request-Form.pdf- 1

Well, went to the doc today arm is healed and can now resume normal activity no weight restrictions. And we leave in 19 days for Fairbanks. I have packed my carryon bag and after much debate have settled on the following; Sony A1 and A7RV with the following lenses, 14mm f/1.4, 24-70 /f2.8, 70-200 f/2.8, 100-400 f/5.6, 1.4x and 2x teleconverters. Along with GoPro 11 and iPhone 13Pro. I will carry one body w/lens and 70-200 in a ThinkTank Holster and the other gear will be in a Shimoda Action X30 with enough room to have my laptop, iPad, travel CPAP, meds, my travel EDC, chargers, spare batteries (6), power supply (2), binoculars and assorted cords.
How do you like that bag? Looks like it will fit a ton of gear and other necessities. I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect bag.

From a cruise industry organization:
CLIA Statement regarding incorrect reports about cruise operations in Amsterdam
21 July 2023
We are aware of the media reports about the future of cruise in Amsterdam. As the port has publicly stated, cruise ships have not been banned from Amsterdam. Furthermore, the port and Passenger Terminal Amsterdam have already pledged to undertake investments worth millions of Euros in port infrastructure and shoreside electricity for the long-term. There have been discussions on its relocation outside the city centre which started back in 2016 and which are still ongoing.
We are working with the authorities to accommodate the views expressed by Council members while continuing to support the communities that benefit from cruise tourism.
Of the more than 21 million visitors that Amsterdam receives each year, around 1% arrive by cruise ship, with cruise tourism contributing around 105 million Euros to the city annually.

So to report back - I called a local agent, who found a substantial promotional discount ($1300 off the list price of $6800) and $500 OBC, with a possibility of a bit more if they are combinable with the other offers. The promotion doesn't appear on the website.
I usually book our travel myself, but this experience was entirely positive. Was it lucky timing, or are TAs the secret to saving money on cruise fares? This agent is affiliated with a larger cruise travel organization, if that matters.
Depending on which organization the TA works with, they may have access to exclusive deals/perks/savings that even the cruise line's agents can't access.

The FP-100Z battery is a fantastic upgrade all by itself.

I concur. I also like that the a6600 takes the same battery as my Alpha 1.

I don’t disagree, but I like supporting local businesses, too. I tried one of the options and am pleased so far. How does Seabourn choose them, I wonder.
I, too like supporting local businesses.
I suspect agents are included in the listings if they have passes all of the Seabourn Academy training.

Not enough advancements that I need to upgrade from a6600. However, if I were just getting into Sony...
-
Looking forward to the official announcement as well. Faster burst rate, tracking improvements, and second control wheel are most intriguing to me. Or maybe I'm just feeling lonely because my A6600 is in the camera hospital. 😁

We've done aft for Panama Canal full transit. Highly recommended for that, but it is HOT back there with no breeze--obviously not a concern for Alaska.
