  1. Usually when FTTF is offered because one port or more is a tender. Are you sure that you don't have a tender port? And I've done both ways, and really depends on if everyone ahead of you has all their documentation papers in order. Lol please post update with your experience. We are cruising in Oct out of Galveston

  2. Our favorite port so far is HMC. We rented a cabana and shared with another couple. It is a must in my opinion. It provides ac, snacks and drinks, lounge mats for the ocean, snorkel gear, lounge chairs for the beach, and a shower rinse station. We loved the beach and ocean. I know you all will too. And the lunch provided by the cruise is good. As for Turk, we'll when you get off its a cruise port with all the stores (Ron Johns, etc), but within walking distance is the beaches and the free. A bar there always has a dog running on the beach. I think it's Jacks. It will see it mentioned on other forums. Enjoy

  3. Well really you will have to worry about both doors since your joining door will always be open. I really don't see you having issues, unless you have children who just run away from you now. What about putting your suitcase in front of the door with a strings of bells. Your child would have to move that and you would hear it. Another idea is baby monitors.

  4. I recommend staying on South Beach. We stayed at The Avalon and loved it. Their restaurant call A Fish Called Avalon is 5 stars. So your friends and hang out on South Beach go walk on the beach and then grab a taxi the day of the cruise. It isn't expensive at all and the taxis there know how to get around. It would be a memory they would have forever.

  5. I think its great. I know before we went on Glory last October I heard a lot of people complain about it and I was a little worried. But really didn't even notice. Also we didn't have to share appetizers either.

  6. Its last about 2-3 hours, we dressed nice as you would going to dinner but not formal night. I think you have to wear certain shoes because you walk through the galley. The pair wine with each course and it is included in the price. You also get a group picture with the captain at the end. It is an awesome experience and we will do it every time. By the way you do not leave hungry. ;)

  7. This is our first cruise with carnival booking early saver. Never really had a problem with getting OBC or refund. Our choice. They have always said the you are guaranteed the lowest price and having booked a balcony room on lido for less than $75/ night is a great deal. And we stop at 4 ports. I check everyday on fare viewer and have close to $500 in OBC. We are very happy with this. I have booked only a month out for cruises and have gotten deals with that too. But I think so far this has been the best deal

  8. Well said!! I searched for a cruise not just the ship itself but the ports it is stopping at. We have done Western Caribbean twice both with different ports except Cozumel. The reason we chose Glory was the itinerary. I'm really excited about it. Also trashy or classless people are everywhere and some of them have a lot of money and you wouldn't know it. I like when the cruises interact with the their customers. Its gets everyone involved and you enjoy yourselves more with laughter. And we love the towel animals! :)

  9. Some guy came into where I work today and was talking about how he is going on a princess Cruise to Alaska. We were talking blah blah blah then he said my brother and his wife are going on a Caribbean cruise on carnival. He said are you kidding my really what's $299 going to get ya. He said look Royal is $799 they have more to offer. I told him there is nothing wrong with carnival and they will have a lot more fun than you will on your stuffy cruise to Alaska. I'm super excited about our cruise on Glory Oct 18, 2014. I have been on a couple of different cruise lines they each have their pros and cons.
