  1. I don't think you will have any problem. I took my special needs daughter last year and was worried about so many things and the crew and staff were wonderful. She can't wait to go on another one. As for the food during busy times there will always be lines and if that is to much for your son there is always room service option. Best of luck and enjoy

  2. I'm so happy to hear the positive news about lido room 9293. We booked this room because the pvp from carnival told us too. He said we would enjoy it and the lido is where most people spend their day. And being towards the front there is less foot traffic because most passengers use mid ship elevators

  3. I would say yes you can without a problem. You already have FTTF and with you having a flight at that time you will get off first. I think its about 45 minutes to FLL depending on traffic so even if you get off the ship at 8:30 and in the car to the airport by 10. I think that's plenty of time. Enjoy we are on the glory on October. I look forward to your review

  4. South beach central is a little more north. Ocean drive 4 - 10th street is where its at. Check out the Avalon hotel and the restaurant A Fish Called Avalon. Its wonderful

  5. The Avalon is right in the heart of south beach. It has history to it and I'm sire you have seen pictures of a old car sitting outside the hotel. And the restaurant called A Fish called Avalon is amazing. The other hotel affiliated with them is South Seas about 10 blocks north. That has the pool and its oceanside. Gorgeous!!

  6. We flew into FLL last time and stayed at a hotel in FL Lauderdale. Then had SAS take us in the morning. The only thing is you are not their only stop. So you might have two or three stops before the port. It was a flat rate but it depends on what time you want to get there. Also we took a cab from south beach back to or hotel in FLL and it was close to $100. Can you change your hotel or get a shuttle from FLL to MIA?

  7. Would I share with friends? Yes. But that's not what we are talking about here. If you are at a table of ten, meeting 8 people for the first time, no I don't want to share food. If Carnival is trying to save money by less linen being laundered and less dishes to be washed that's a big mistake. And its sounds like the reviews and comments everyone is expressing it. I will try a new menu but I will not share food. If I wanted to do that I would eat at the buffet every time.

  8. Our PVP told us to book lido. Our category is 8E and that was with they free 4 category upgrade special during early saver. He said the lido deck is the most popular because its on the main floor everybody wants to be on and there should be less foot traffic by our rooms because most people will use the middle elevator instead of the front of the ship.

  9. What is a casino offer? Is that while you are on ship or before you sail? We did book early saver and they told us to book lido it is the best. Our category is 8E. How long after you booked early saver did you get a price drop? Was it closer to the cruise?
